Located in Impruneta, a charming town on the edge of Chianti, Apartment Saladino is a comfortable 70 sqm apartment consisting of:

• Large living room with double sofa bed, couch with two matching armchairs, table with 4 chairs, flat screen television and fully equipped kitchen with appliance (oven and dishwasher included),

• Bedroom with king size double bed,

• Bathroom with shower and washing machine.

Old terracotta floors and high ceilings with exposed beams.

The space has been restored with care and respect for its history and a particular care to the antique furnishings themselves. It is fully furnished and decorated with antiques belonging to our family collection.

Walls are thicker than 50 cm, as it was customary centuries ago in this kind of buildings to ensure cool even in the hottest summers.

Apartment Saladino is located on the first floor (ground level) of our family property, Villa Saladini, a 16th century Manor Villa surrounded by olive groves and by a huge and beautiful park, beyond which there also is a pine forest inhabited by deer and fawns, perfect for walking.

All around there is a huge variety of birds.

In the garden you will find table and chairs and deck chairs to relax in the green.

The Villa is located less than 1 km from the town's main square and there is a bus stop for the nearby city of Florence (13 Km) in front of entrance gate.

The bus route is very convenient to go to Florence during the day and come back at dinner time. We will give you all timetables. (More info in the "Getting there" section).

We do our best to make our guests feel as if they were at home.

Upon your arrival we will welcome you with Florence and Chianti maps, tourist information including main museums opening hours, discount rates for nearby restaurants, list of wineries for wine tastings, bus timetables, etc.

In the hope of meeting all your needs, we have organized to offer various additional services on request: continental or international breakfast, home made dinner, car with driver for Chianti or sightseeing tours, wine tastings, professional cooking lessons (we have an agreement with a cooking school to have a professional chef teaching private lessons in the Villa kitchen), non professional cooking lessons (a good housewife knows how to make home made pasta :)), guided Florence tours with a professional guide, shuttle service... and many more.

We will also go shopping for you, if you like, so that everything you need is already inside the apartment on arrival.

Villa Saladini is therefore the ideal place to relax surrounded by a beautiful environment, entering the atmosphere of Tuscan tradition but also an excellent base for visiting Florence, the fascinating Chianti area and the most beautiful towns in Tuscany. You will love it!

LIVING ROOM - KITCHEN
Large living room including: a sofa with two matching armchairs, a sofa bed, two small tables, one of which supports the TV, an octagonal dining table with 4 chairs, a nineteenth century's showcase, a two marble shelves console with a drawer and two doors.
The kitchen with appliance (refrigerator and dishwasher) and external electric oven, everything working perfectly is equipped with all kitchenware you may need: various pots, dishes, glasses, cups, cutlery, oil-cruet, coffee maker, kettle and various kitchen instruments (in more than enough for four people).

BEDROOM
Bedroom includes: a comfortable king double bed, an early '900 walnut wood wardrobe with internal mirror, a XIX century marble-topped chest of drawers with mirror, two XIX century's marble topped bed side table and a dressing table with mirror.

BATHROOM
Bathroom with shower has been freshly renovated. Inside it you will find the washing machine.

Let us introduce ourselves to you: We are Perla and Marco, we are married and live in the Villa with our two children, Bernardo and Beatrice. We will always be available if you need help during your stay and we would love to chat if you wish, but we will not disturb you if you are looking for some privacy. The Villa belongs to our family for many generations, ever since it was built over 500 years ago and it has a special charm. If you wish, we will show you with pleasure the magnificent main living room with the great fireplace, the small chapel with family tombs and the 1500 old kitchen. The whole building is filled with antiques and looks like a museum. We love this place and we hope you will love it too!

How do damage deposits work?

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Perla (the owner) a message.

If Perla (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
