Situated amidst the picturesque landscapes of the Dordogne region, Villa La Peyrière is an attractive stone structure in the bustling heart of Sarlat. It is enclosed within a meticulously maintained 2100 square metre garden, placing it at an enviable location just a quick stroll from Sarlat's famed medieval district. No matter the season—whether during the balmy summers or the cooler months — the villa's well-considered design assures a comfortable stay. The property offers adaptable accommodation fit for a variety of guests, whether families, couples, or groups of friends. Special rates are provided for longer stays during the off-season. A secluded private pool, encircled by carefully landscaped gardens, provides an ideal relaxation spot to bask in the summer sun.

A secluded patio is situated next to the house. Surrounded by lush gardens, mature trees, and home to numerous bird species, it contains two barbecues - a gas and a wood-fired one - allowing for intimate outdoor dining experiences as one revels in the spectacular valley views. About the House

The house started its life long ago as two stone barns and has been restored and converted into one large home. The renovation has maintained the original Perigordian character of the property while adding modern kitchen and bathroom facilities.

The house is surrounded by just over 2100 square metres of established gardens with magnificent views over the valley while being just 600 metres from the ancient quarter of Sarlat where one can find an excellent selection of local restaurants offering regional cuisine.

There is private parking on the property for up to two vehicles.

The Rooms of Villa La Peyrière:

MASTER BEDROOM - The master bedroom in Villa La Peyriere is a beautifully lit room with a spacious queen-size bed (153cm x 203cm), an en-suite bathroom, a kitchenette, and a sitting area. It also includes a flat-screen TV with a DVD library and an iPod docking station. Although connected to the rest of the house, the master bedroom has its own private entrance.

DOUBLE BEDROOM - Villa La Peyriere also features two double bedrooms. One of them sleeps two guests in a large queen-size bed (160cm x 200cm) with high-quality fittings and shares a bathroom with the other double bedroom.

DOUBLE BEDROOM - The second double bedroom also sleeps two guests and is furnished with a double bed (140cm x 200cm).

DAY BED - The property also has day bed in the sitting room (90cm X 200cm) available on request.

THE KITCHEN – The cozy kitchen is designed in a farmhouse style with a fireplace and is fully equipped with an oven, cook top, dishwasher, and microwave. You'll find essential pantry items such as olive oil, salt, pepper, vinegar, tea, and coffee, all provided for your convenience. Don't forget to visit the extensive herb garden to add some flavor to your culinary creations.

LOUNGE / DINING ROOM - The living and dining area is quite spacious, with a vintage wood burner on one side and French doors opening to the garden on the other. A stunning antique dining table, designed by a European designer using Australian silky oak, is placed in front of the fireplace, accompanied by inviting, large couches. The living room is equipped with streaming services including Netflix, Amazon Prime as well as English and French free to air Television with 2024 Olympic coverage. There is also a DVD player with a library of DVDs, and a sound system with an iPod docking station.

THE SITTING ROOM - A sandstone-built sitting room connects the two former barns and offers a lovely spot for reading or unwinding. A selection of books and games are provided for guests.

CAR PARKING - There is parking for two cars on the property.

While you do not need a car while staying at Villa La Peyriere and are walking distance to Sarlat, you will need a car to explore the surrounding area.

If Karen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
