From the owner

Our ground floor apartment is just a 300m walk from the cable car that takes you up into the 3 Vallees ski domaine. The cable car is in Orelle, a small French village situated on the valley floor with very easy access from all directions. From Orelle you can access Val Thorens, Meribel, Courchevel etc - all skiable in one day! Snow is guaranteed. The apartment is ground floor with an enclosed area for keeping skis etc safe. It is spacious and very cosy with a drying area for ski clothes and boots.

In Spring/Summer, the apartment is ideally located for cyclists wanting to take on the challenge of the Col de Galibier and other daunting cycle routes made famous by the Tour de France. The apartment is ground floor and there is a storage area for bikes.

If cycling is not for you, there is a multitude of mountain walking routes and mountain huts for overnight hikes. For kids, the Alps turns into a huge playground with mountain biking, mountain boarding, via Ferrata, water rafting and swimming in pools and lakes.

The apartment has a living/dining room, 2 bedrooms (double bed in one bedroom, 4 singles in the other bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, separate toilet, large porch for storing skis, bikes etc.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Joan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
