Monte Bella is a peaceful holiday home, best suited for families that want to enjoy the paradise that is Mahabaleshwar!

Monte Bella has 4 large bedrooms with air-conditioning, 3 bathrooms and a powder room and a large living and dining area. Furniture consists of beautifully carved antique beds, chairs and dining tables. We have a large, exclusive garden with a swing and hammocks for exterior dining and other festivities.

- We're walking distance from the market, yet far from the noise.

- We have everything you will need in the house - linen, a fully equipped kitchen, first aid kit and have clean bathrooms and hot water in the showers.

- Our in house cook will make you delicious home made, local food at an additional cost.

-Breakfasts available at Rs. 250 per head (Eggs, toast, butter, jam, cheese, & a veg dish (Poha/Upma)

We are pet-friendly too, so you can bring along your dogs or cats (with prior consent!). We do not allow pets on the furniture and charge Rs. 500 per pet per night.

- 2 persons ID copies needed for confirmation before arrival

- Upon arrival refundable deposit of INR. 10,000 must be given to the caretaker upon check-in (there will be no exceptions, must be paid on arrival in cash). Will be returned or adjusted towards meals or extra (assuming there are no damages.)

- Our furniture is all antique, shifting/ reshuffling the furniture is not allowed.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ayesha (the owner) a message.

If Ayesha (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
