From the owner

Centrally located on the island is a private entrance Studio Chalet with an incredible view of olive groves , the Mediterranean Sea and Dia Island . Fully equipped kitchenette , single bed , a double fold-out sofa that includes weekly linens and a fantastic large deck that looks out into the Mediterranean Sea . There is also a TV , Wi-fi and outdoor furniture . By car or bus it's just minutes to the city center of Heraklion , beaches and airport . We can reserve a motorbike or car where we get great deals for our guests and have it right when you arrive , just let us know . Lots of parking if you rent a car or you can catch the city bus that comes in front of the house twice a day , Monday thru Friday . Only non-smokers please !

This quaint, comfortable and magical Studio Chalet is situated behind the main house and two other rentals . The house is surrounded by grape vines , fig , lemon , apricot , and pomegranate trees . Also large cacti with prickly pear fruit , geraniums , lavender , and the smell of jasmine at your doorstep .You will be able to enjoy the fruits from our garden depending on the season and we will supply you with our own fresh olive oil for cooking , a welcome bottle of our red wine , and olive oil soap for your showers too . You also will be provided with a delicious Cretan appetizer plate when you arrive and a continental breakfast . For your convenience , there is a small family -run grocery store within walking distance for your initial shopping , a wonderful coffee shop that also serves food and a larger chain grocery store nearby . Come and experience Crete with us :-)

I am an American who has lived on the island for 15 years now . It would be my pleasure to assist you in all your excursions and help you experience the real Crete , with all of her ancient mysteries and natural beauty . In the summer ( about 6 months long ) of course we have the pristine beaches everywhere you look , fall and winter we have the making of wine , raki ( or moonshine ) and the harvesting for olive oil through out the villages . There is a fantastic winery nearby to visit and tour called Boutari Winery that is just 4 kilometers from the house . There you will be able to taste , experience and buy some of our local wines to take back home with you too ! There is also a beautiful canyon called the Karteros Canyon just down the hill from the chalet where you can take long hikes through nature .There are over 6,000 villages , 3000 caves and more than 350 beaches to explore on the island and all unique in their own special way . You will never forget Crete !

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    How do I edit my booking?

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Pamela (the owner) a message.

    If Pamela (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
