The living room of the flat has an open plan design - this allows our guests to cook, dine or simply sit and relax all with the stunning views of the harbour.

Situated in a conservation area right on the waterfront on a small, secluded, almost private seventeenth century quay, the water literally laps just a few steps from the front door - yet the town centre with its cobbled streets, upmarket restaurants, cafes, bars and shopping is just around the corner.

The panoramic uninterrupted views across the harbour to Flushing, Trefusis, St. Just in Roseland and the sailing waters of the Carrick Roads are simply mesmerising.

Watch as the pilot boat goes out to meet a visiting cruise liner arriving from exotic shores. See the traditional Falmouth Working boats racing out in the harbour, Cornish gig rowers training, visiting yachts moored in the yacht haven, fishing boats, canoes, kayaks, speed boats, dinghies - anything that floats!
The quayside is buzzing with marine life - watch cormorants fishing, see and hear swans taking off and landing on the water in front of you, keep an eye out for families of ducks waddling in at low tide, egrets sometimes put in an appearance, even the occasional heron drops in for a visit! King Fishers and Razor Bills are occasionally spotted.

Further details outdoors

After all that, if you can drag yourself away from your balcony then why not take a ferry or water taxi to St. Mawes, Flushing, Mylor, Truro or up the Helford River -explore creeks and coves, take coastal walks or simply enjoy magnificent sandy beaches.

Perhaps take a trip on a wildlife spotting boat - seals are regularly seen in the harbour and occasionally dolphins and even whales are spotted! In fact we have a resident seal which pops its head up outside Harbour's Reach occasionally!

The National Maritime Museum, a five minute walk from the flats, celebrates Falmouth's historic maritime links.

The England region

Cornwall's stunning coastline, mild climate, abundant wildlife, world class tourist attractions, gourmet restauants, stylish shopping, are just some of the reasons that make it perfect for a winter break, a romantic getaway, a family holiday and more......

West Country

Falmouth is Cornwall's leading South Coast Resort and home to the county's maritime heritage. Here you will find sandy golden beaches, spectacular scenery, specialist shops from local art to antiques and exceptional sailing in Carrick Roads and the Fal Estuary.

Falmouth's natural harbour is the third deepest in the world and provides a picturesque background to the bustling cobbled main shopping street. Unsurpassed views of Flushing, St Just in Roseland, St Mawes, Falmouth Bay and beyond, can be glimpsed between the buildings, or from the charming opes and walkways meandering through the town.

In the main street you will find a delightful mix of shops from individual specialist outlets to well known high street names. Falmouth's abundance of cafés, restaurants and hotels offer a selection of world-wide cuisine and traditional Cornish food. You can indulge in the delights of a Cornish cream tea, taste locally caught seafood, traditionally made ice cream, locally farmed organic produce and don't forget the famous Cornish Pasty!

Sight seeing in the Falmouth area could not be easier - climb aboard one of the many pleasure boats and passenger ferries which ply the local waters to the picturesque St Mawes harbour, Flushing Village, Trelissick Gardens, Smugglers Cottage at Tolverne, Truro and the Helford Passage. For those who prefer terra firma, an open top bus travels continuously in season linking the town beaches and King Henry VIII's Pendennis Castle.

Falmouth is an excellent location for walkers, who can pick up the south-west coastal path nearby; the striking Lizard and Roseland peninsulas are a stone's throw away.

Discover Cornwall's maritime roots at the National Maritime Museum located only 300m from Harbour's Reach.

“perfect break”

Reviewed 5 Dec 2016

stayed at these lovely apartments for a relaxing winter break. what a find! the apartment was just perfect, we had a two bedroom one, loads of room for just the two of us. everything we needed was catered for, including a hairdryer with a lead long enough for me to dry my hair looking in the floor length mirror, (there was also a small mirror above the little dressing table) kitchen had everything we needed, even a dish washer, so it really was a holiday for me!! the view was amazing, right on one of the harbour areas, so lots to watch. so well positioned in the centre of everything, only a stones throw from the shops and restaurants. the only downside was trying to reverse through the archway to the quayside (glad i wasnt driving!) but not a problem if you have a bigger car you can just pull up outside the arch and unload your stuff before going to the allocated parking spaces a few hundred yards away. beware the spaces are quite small though, our reversing into one wasnt helped by a builder in a transit who parked in front of our car as we were trying to get into the space!! we had a brilliant time and we will be back!

Fantastic place to stay, clean, very tidy and an unaxpected welcome package of essentials. Right in the heart of Falmouth with plenty of bars and restaurants. A fantastic view from the apartment over the harbour, perfect place to unwind, will definitely be going again.

“Wow”

Reviewed 27 Sep 2016

As soon as we walked into our apartment, st michael's, our reaction was 'wow' what a view of falmouth harbour. Quite stunning. The apartment was quite large, well equiped and very clean. In a prime location, 2 minutes from the main shopping street but very quiet. We slept well every night. Falmouth is perfect for many trips, most of which we did by boat from prince of wales quay, 5 minutes away. Tintagel is a must, about 90 minutes away. Loved the accommodation and falmouth- we will be back.

“Superb location with stunning harbour views and the all important pub just around the corner.”

A lovely flat in a super location. The flat has a lovely view over Falmouth harbour. It is well appointed, spotless and has all the bits and pieces needed for a holiday stay including a comfortable bed.

We're delighted you enjoyed your stay with us - we look forward to seeing you again next year - Kind regards

“Wonderful place, fabulous views and so central to all Falmouth's attractions, shops, restaurants etc!”

We had a wonderful week, the apartment was light, airy and well equipped. With such a breath taking view over the lively harbour it was an effort to drag ourselves away to sample all the wonderful and interesting places Falmouth and the surrounding areas have to offer. Our family have been back to these apartments a number of times over the last 12 years so we would have no hesitation in recommending a stay here - especially impressive now they have been recently refurbished.

“Fantastic Love it”

Reviewed 10 May 2013

Have been staying there for 6 years now, so we have stayed in many of the appartments. Central location near all amenities but totally quiet and safe on private quay, fantastic views and you can even feed the swans outside your front door. Stayed as a couple, with our daughter, and lastly with our daughter and two grand daughters so perfect for anyone.

“Fabulous central Falmouth location with amazing views across the harbour.”

As a family with kids aged 2 and 6, it was so nice to be able to stay somewhere where we could walk everywhere, from cafes to the ferry stop, to the beach. Easy to book, helpful instructions to find it. We found the local people in Falmouth to be very friendly. Loads to do with kids, plus lots of places to eat suitable for even a fidgety 2 year old. The apartment was modern, clean, with all necessary kitchen appliances. Kids and parents loved it.
