Very Good

“Peace & quiet ........ but in the centre of it all......”

Falmouth has been a holiday destination of my partner and I for 20 year plus. The last seven we have stayed in Harbours Reach and have not been tempted to change. Quiet, with an ever changing view from the balcony which overlooks the water. We travel by train from London as the station is just ten minutes walk. Falmouth town has a lot to offer, we particularly like the incredible range of restaurants and bars. In contrast to London it is refreshing to get genuine welcomes. Walk through the character full town will get you bus connections across Cornwall, it’s nice to leave driving to someone else. Bus, train or in the summer the ferry into Truro will give you even more options to explore this part of the world. Tim and Jackie have 6 well appointed apartments and their personal attention to detail is evident in the cleanliness, decoration and facilities they provided, including the onsite launderette. Will we return? You bet! Barry & Mick

From when I sent my first enquiry to an email hoping my journey home was OK, I could not have been more impressed with Tim's help. The appartment exceeded my expectations and the view was outstanding. I am an avid reader and took 6 books with me. I only read one as the view was just too fantastic. I received a warm welcome from Fran, who helped me with my luggage. Later in the week she also gave me some good advice on a walk I had planned. The walks in the area are great. A trip to St Ives on the train is a good, easy day out. I planned too much for one week and will be back next year. A spotless, comfortable appartment with all you need for a good break, helpful and friendly staff and a view that can't be beaten.

Owner's reply: Many thanks for this review Sue, we look forward to seeing you again next year. Kind regards, Tim

“Home away from home”

We loved staying at Harbour's Reach! The location is so central and the apartment had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Tim was on hand to help us up the stairs with all our luggage and was also able to meet us quite late in the evening to help us find the building and get settled. We would definitely stay here again and will also recommend to family and friends. If you do have a lot of luggage (like us) you would be better to have an apartment on the lower floors as no lift. Thanks for a great stay!

“Pre Xmas break”

Thank you very much, so glad we found you. Very nice apartment in the central part of Falmouth. Very clean with good furnishings etc, small welcome pack on arrival that was welcome. They do have a hairdryer. Walking distance to the Maritime Museum, Ferrry pick up point for local ferry links, two beaches close by. Will definitely go back. We found it difficult to hire a car so pre plan if you require one. Many Thanks

“perfect break”

Reviewed 5 Dec 2016

stayed at these lovely apartments for a relaxing winter break. what a find! the apartment was just perfect, we had a two bedroom one, loads of room for just the two of us. everything we needed was catered for, including a hairdryer with a lead long enough for me to dry my hair looking in the floor length mirror, (there was also a small mirror above the little dressing table) kitchen had everything we needed, even a dish washer, so it really was a holiday for me!! the view was amazing, right on one of the harbour areas, so lots to watch. so well positioned in the centre of everything, only a stones throw from the shops and restaurants. the only downside was trying to reverse through the archway to the quayside (glad i wasnt driving!) but not a problem if you have a bigger car you can just pull up outside the arch and unload your stuff before going to the allocated parking spaces a few hundred yards away. beware the spaces are quite small though, our reversing into one wasnt helped by a builder in a transit who parked in front of our car as we were trying to get into the space!! we had a brilliant time and we will be back!

“Relaxing Break”

Fantastic place to stay, clean, very tidy and an unaxpected welcome package of essentials. Right in the heart of Falmouth with plenty of bars and restaurants. A fantastic view from the apartment over the harbour, perfect place to unwind, will definitely be going again.

As soon as we walked into our apartment, st michael's, our reaction was 'wow' what a view of falmouth harbour. Quite stunning. The apartment was quite large, well equiped and very clean. In a prime location, 2 minutes from the main shopping street but very quiet. We slept well every night. Falmouth is perfect for many trips, most of which we did by boat from prince of wales quay, 5 minutes away. Tintagel is a must, about 90 minutes away. Loved the accommodation and falmouth- we will be back.

“Superb location with stunning harbour views and the all important pub just around the corner.”

A lovely flat in a super location. The flat has a lovely view over Falmouth harbour. It is well appointed, spotless and has all the bits and pieces needed for a holiday stay including a comfortable bed.

“Wonderful place, fabulous views and so central to all Falmouth's attractions, shops, restaurants etc!”

We had a wonderful week, the apartment was light, airy and well equipped. With such a breath taking view over the lively harbour it was an effort to drag ourselves away to sample all the wonderful and interesting places Falmouth and the surrounding areas have to offer. Our family have been back to these apartments a number of times over the last 12 years so we would have no hesitation in recommending a stay here - especially impressive now they have been recently refurbished.

“Fantastic Love it”

Have been staying there for 6 years now, so we have stayed in many of the appartments. Central location near all amenities but totally quiet and safe on private quay, fantastic views and you can even feed the swans outside your front door. Stayed as a couple, with our daughter, and lastly with our daughter and two grand daughters so perfect for anyone.
