Waters Edge is one of the few detached water fronting homes in Falmouth. This recently refurbished bungalow enjoys spectacular views to the river, Falmouth Marina and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the far shore . You can relax in the comfortable leather swivel chairs to enjoy these views through the large picture window in the lounge.
Or, sit out in the established 100 foot garden. There's a patio near the house and a barbecue area at the river end. Some steps down to a private quay take you to the waters edge where you can feed the swans or go fishing.
There is off road parking for 3 vehicles, a rarity in Falmouth. A beautiful 10-15 minute walk along the river brings you to Falmouth High Street.
The property is fully equipped with Sky HD (Sports and Movies), WiFi Broadband and Computer, Wii and PS3 Consoles and full size table football. The newly installed Kitchen has an induction hob, integrated fridge, dishwasher and washing machine, and bean to cup coffee machine.
Children over 5 are welcome but parents should be aware that the garden has direct access, through a gate, to the river.
Although the property hasn't been specifically adapted, we have had guests with reduced mobility, including wheelchair users. Please contact us to discuss.

Bedroom 1 has a King Size bed. Bedroom 2 is set up as a twin with two 3 foot single beds. Bedroom 3 has a standard Double. This is the smallest of the 3 bedrooms but enjoys the best river views. Therefore, we have chosen to place a double bed in this room although one side of the bed is next to a wall.

Lovely bungalow with wonderful views and everything we needed and more besides. The entertainment facilities were exceptional and much appreciated by the children and adults alike.Beds were very comfortable. Just one small criticism - we didn't use the barbecue as it was rusty and dirty.Other than that we found everything else very clean and would definitely stay here again.
Great place to stay - everything you need. Parking, views, equipment. Fantastic. Would highly recommend.

Second time at this property. All was OK except the front bedroom was a little damp ( wall paper coming off the wall !! ).
Owner's reply: Thank you for your review. I stayed in Waters Edge on the week after you and noticed the very small strip of wallpaper that had become unstuck. This bedroom has recently been redecorated and it is where the feature wall wallpaper overlaps the other wallpaper and hadn't been glued down properly.
“Beautiful house and location!”
This is a lovely holiday let-home from home really with everything and more needed for a relaxing holiday. The house is spotlessly clean and comfortable and the views are truly spectacular.Sitting in the lovely spinning chairs by the window watching the boats come and go is just so relaxing. The house is a good 15 min brisk walk into the centre of Falmouth and was just a bit too far for my elderly parents but ok for the slightly fitter! The garden at the property is large and well tended-perfect for an evening game of boules(supplied) and a glass of wine and if you are lucky watching one of the beautiful sunsets. The 3 bedrooms are all well decorated - the only negative being that the low bed in the 3rd bedroom is not that comfy and we didnt sleep as well as we hoped. On the whole though we were delighted with the house and would certainly recommend it to family and friends. My parents aged 84 and 80 just loved it and seeing them relaxed and enjoying themselves was a pleasure.
“Excellent property with Great Views”
This property is excellent, all you need and more. There is all the kitchen equipment you need and plenty to keep the kids busy with a PS3, Wii and computer. The views over the marina are excellent. Just a short walk into town where there are numerous pubs and shops, The local Marina bar and restaurant is very welcoming and friendly. Will definately stay there again.
(One week family holiday for Dad, Mum and 4 children age 5 to 14.) Waters Edge is in a beautiful location in Falmouth and as the name suggests, it is indeed, RIGHT on the water's edge looking over Falmouth Marina. The property has a large, well-kept, sloping garden and right at the bottom a little gate leads to a private jetty which the children thought was fantastic and kept going down to see where the tide was and what creatures could be discovered etc. The property was very well equipped and the beds were comfortable and we all slept very well. The lounge area has a HUGE bay window where you can sit and enjoy the view of the Marina (and the view really is as good as it looks in the photographs)! The lounge furniture is very comfortable and there is everything you would need technology wise. The kitchen and dining area are lovely too with a real marine feeling throughout. We walked into the centre of Falmouth on a few evenings and enjoyed the beaches at Swanpool and Maenporth where we hired a Kayak which the children really enjoyed! We went on a 2 hour boat trip along the coast line which was beautiful & visited Pendennis Castle which was very interesting with more breathtaking views of Cornwall. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Waters Edge and would love to return in the future.
“Fantastic views, great location nice bungalow - Were able to Kayak from the garden”
We rented Waters Edge for two weeks in the hope that our teenage family would find some time in their busy lives to come and stay with us. This was a great location for that, with ample parking for the three cars that were there for some of the time. Swanpool, Maenporth and the castles at Pendennis and St Mawes were popular. There was a guns event at Pendennis which was worth the extra entrance charge. We brought Kayaks with us and had some nice trips around Falmouth harbour launching from the end of the garden - you get two hours each side of high tide. We also took them to Swanpool where you can launch at any time and planned to take them to Maenporth where it would also have been possible - but never got around to that. We loved that we could walk into Falmouth most nights to use the varied restaurants there. The "Thai Orchid" and "Samphire" were particular favourites, but there were none that were really bad. When left on our own, we used the bungalow as a base for walking some significant parts of the South West Coast Path, parking near to Helston Sainsbury's and using the busses to access various villages along the way. We cannot fault Waters Edge for anything, the garden was excellent for barbeques and sunsets when the weather let us but the swivel seats in the lounge allowed nice views while reading a book and drinking wine - even when the weather didn't allow us outside.
“Lovely property nice and quiet”
The bungalow was ideal for my elderly parents apart from only having one bathroom with no seperate shower, and the one bedroom had a very low bed. The lounge furniture was also very uncomfortable and we were not able to relax at the end of the day. The position of the bungalow was excellent and overall we had a pleasant stay. I would recommend for families and young couples because there was a lot of hi tech equipment such as a computer and printer and a playstation.
