The fact that panoramic views of Falmouth Harbour towards Pendennis Castle, across to the village of Flushing and the Roseland Peninsula, with its twin castle of St Mawes can be enjoyed from The Crow's Nest, explains why the wealthy of the past chose this location. The England region

With its countless sheltered coves the Fal and Helford area are a supberb location for fishing, boating and sailing enthusiasts.

Cornwall's wonder is its timelessness, its isolation and geography is its charm. Much of its past is still present and Cornwall's history is one of its key attractions. Its also part of your history - how many remember long car journeys as children to that magical destination! Communication links are now very different. Yes times have changed - but not that much. “Wonderful property with truly amazing views”

Reviewed 4 Jul 2016

My husband and I stayed at the Crows Nest whilst visiting Falmouth . We arrived to a bottle of wine and a vase of roses left on the side table and even some shortbread biscuits and a pint of milk in the kitchen. A lovely welcome. With such terrific views it was hard to tear ourselves away for the short walk into town for amenities. Taking our binoculars was a bonus. The property was beautifully furnished and had everything one could ask for. It was lovely that some period features had been retained and one could imagine the property's past residents. The rooms were spacious, especially the upstairs double room. We attended the Falmouth Shanty festival and visited the Maritime museum which we thoroughly enjoyed. There is so much to see and do with many independent shops and cafes. A short drive to the surrounding countryside was also beautiful. We cannot wait to visit again.

“Falmouth Excellence”

Fantastic little apartment over looking the sea front. Very comfortable, very clean and very homely. Within minutes of walking to Falmouth centre so is ideal to explore. Owners are very nice too and welcomed us with open arms. All in all an excellent place to stay and highly recommended to everyone :-)

“Crow's Nest, Falmouth- Not to be missed.”

Reviewed 13 Mar 2013

Having 'found' Falmouth about 10 years ago, we have stayed in several holiday properties in and around the area. This was the final property we stayed in and haven't looked back since. It is the top apartment in a three storey, Victorian house situated on a road overlooking Falmouth Harbour. The apartment is a duplex, self contained dwelling which benefits from the magnificent views, either from the living room or the large attic double bedroom. It is furnished and decorated to a high standard and contains everything you will need for a relaxing holiday for up to four people. The property is just a few minutes stroll into the town which contains some well know high street stores, designer shops, variety of restaurants, traditional pubs and much, much more. Crow's Nest can tend to get booked up well in advance so it is worth booking right away if your selected week is available. June is our favourite month and we always book 12 months ahead to make sure we get our preferred week. One time we decided to book a different month only to find Crow's Nest was already booked. Were we disappointed?- Yes & No. Fisherman's Haven was available so we booked that instead. Fisherman's Haven is the middle flat of the property which is also excellent (see our review of that property too). The owners go out of their way to ensure you have a good experience leaving you a welcoming gift of fresh flowers, a bottle of wine and biscuits. There is even a bottle of milk in the fridge so you can enjoy a refreshing 'cuppa' after your long journey. Don't miss out on Crow's Nest, you will not regret it.

“Perfect in every way”

Great position with fab views over the water and close proximity to Falmouth town.A spotlessly clean, extremely well appointed and tastefully decorated apartment with everything you need in the kichen and elsewhere. This fitted the bill perfectly for our weekend away.
