“Little Gem”

Reviewed 18 Apr 2017

The cottage is well laid out with open plan living on the upper floor. Good access to the lower floor via stairs/stair lift for the less able. The Cottage is spotless and has good quality fixture and fittings. it is set in a picturesque village with lots of historic buildings, coffee shops and gift shops. There is also many other interesting places within easy reach such as Leven Lock and the coast. The owner was very helpful and friendly. We'll visit again!

“Great cottage...a week of peace and quiet”

Reviewed 13 Jun 2011

A fantastic cottage which is well equipped with everything you could think of, home from home infact. We stayed in the cottage for a week and found it to be very comfortable. Because the property is so recently renovated everything has that "new" feeling to it. We were most impressed by the kindness of the owners, Stewart and Lindsey, who were very helpful and were keen to make sure everything was to our satisfaction...We can safely say it was. I cant really find any other words to say how impressed we were with the cottage, there are plenty of places to visit nearby and I would recommend a trip to St Andrew's which is only a 30 minute drive away. The village of Falkland is lovely, very quaint and obviously cared about by the local community ( denoted by the many plant tubs strewn around the village and the obvious lack of litter which I personally believe shows how well looked after a place is ). The Bruce Inn is well worth a visit, the food was great and was well priced, good portions etc. The Stag Inn is also worth a visit, live Scottish themed music on selected evenings which was a real treat. All in all, a great week was had by all and I would recommend a stay at Courtside Cottage, thanks.
