Description

Park Pinhal is situated close to the “Praça de Falesia” (Falesia Square) with a sprinkling of charming restaurants, bars, shops and a supermarket. Açoteias village is approximately a 10 minute walk away offering a wider choice of restaurants with local and international cuisine, notably several excellent fish and shellfish restaurants. If it is nightlife you are looking for then within 7kms is Albufeira with its two distinct parts, the Old Town and Praia ad Oura “Strip.” Vilamoura is a 10 mins drive away, and is home to no fewer than five magnificent golf courses, whilst the lovely, nine hole course at Sheraton Pine Cliffs is only 1 km from Falesia Park. It's just a 10 minute walk downhill to one of the Algarve's finest beaches, Falésia, backed by low sandstone cliffs and pine woods. One can walk the beach to Vilamoura and the cliff top walk provides breathtaking views of the beach and surrounding countryside.

Parc Pinhal is a private enclosed condominium of ground and first floor apartments set amidst landscaped gardens, all overlooking a large swimming pool set in the gardens. The gardens and pool area are enclosed with a perimeter hedge and gated. This superb modern, ground floor apartment, there is delightfully spacious, sun-filled lounge which has a TV (internet sourced channels) and large dining table and chairs , and opens out onto a beautiful large terrace area (gated) with sunbeds, table & chairs and a barbecue, overlooking the professionally landscaped gardens and swimming pool. The terrace has a retractable canopy for instant shade!

There are two bedrooms, one a double with en suite bathroom (walk in shower) and terrace access, the other is a twin with a window view of the countryside and has a bathroom located beside it. The sofa bed in the living room sleeps one person. A fully fitted kitchen is located to the front of the property.

All rooms have air conditioning/heating, Black out Blinds, Shutters, and WIFI. This is a delightfully decorated property and would suit families who enjoy the privacy of a residential property but still within walking distance of the beach and all amenities!

“Wonderful holiday!”

We stayed at Park Pinhal in the first week in August during the middle of a Portuguese Heatwave. The accommodation was spaciuous and spotless and located just outside the centre of Falesia which is home to several resturants and bars all of which served very nice food at reasonable prices. The apartment was equipped with pretty much everything you would need including washing machine, large fridge freezer, microwave etc plus satellite TV and free wifi to amuse our 15 year old son! Thankfully the air con worked really well, which we appreciate greatly particularly at night! The terrace is fantastic for sunbathing and alfresco dining with a lovely view of the gardens and pine trees. The pool is virtually outside the back gate and generally quiet. It was a little cold at first but we soon got used to it. Falesia beach is 10 - 15 stroll away and one of the best I have been on in Europe. Spotlessly clean sand leading to the fantastically blue Atlantic Ocean. We walked for miles along the surf and I believe you can actually walk to Vilamoura if you keep going. We had a couple of great nights out in both Albufeira and Vilamoura, taking in some lovely restaurants in the process. Albufeira old town has a great atmosphere with literally hundreds of places to eat and something for everyone. Vilamoura has some great restaurants and cocktail bars along the marina but is fairly expensive so bring lots of cash! We didn't bother hiring a car and used taxis which were about €30 to get to and from Albufeira or Vilamoura. If you play golf like I do, it's very close to Pine Cliffs which is spectacular if not a little expensive for 9 holes! Don't miss the barbicue on Saturday night in the main square containing the restaurants as it's only €17 each for as much food, wine and dancing as you can handle! We had a really great holiday and wouldn't hesitate to book again at Park Pinhal. Finally a big thank you to Michelle who let us stay in the apartment all day before our late evening flight back to Manchester.

We had a lovely stay at the apartment and would definitely stay again. Wi-Fi connection was not the best which also affected the TV. The service of the staff we met was excellent. Would highly recommend this very clean and spacious apartment.
