The Coastal towns of Whitby, Scarborough, Filey and Robins Hood Bay are within easy distance for a family day out as is the walled medieval city of York with its famous York Minster.

Fadmoor

Fadmoor on the edge of the North York National park is well served for bicycle and walking routes. Take to the road and walk or bicycle to one of the many pubs for a well earned lunch or dinner. Or perhaps explore further to the bustling market towns of Pickering, Kirkbymoorside and Helmsley all offering a wonderful range of shops selling antiques, local food and produce and crafts.

“Beautiful, excellent comfortable cottage”

Reviewed 22 Apr 2014

we all loved this cottage it was ideal for the forests as my family are mountain bikers and dog walkers. We were ideally situated and had a good variety of places to eat locally. Loved the Moors and the people in the village of Fadmoor were so friendly we would defiantly stay here again.
