Interaction with guest

7 days stay for the price of 6 days on all full weeks booked. We operate a meet and greet system where guests are met at the property and shown around before handing over the keys. Any problems encountered during the stay will be quickly rectified if we are notified. Keys are collected by the owner at 10 o clock of the morning that guest leaves, this is to give time for the property to be fully cleaned before the arrival of the next guest. We do not live in Eyemouth ourselves so please give us an hours notice either by text or phone so we can arrive at the property ahead of the guest for a prompt handover at the agreed time. If a guest is delayed or can not make it to the property then please let us know as soon as possible.

“Well equipped & in an excellent location”

The location at the very centre of Eyemouth means that the beach & harbour as well as most bars & restaurants are easily walkable in 5 minutes. The flat is equipped with everything one needs for even a long stay. The shower is particularly good & the second floor en-suite a sensible addition. The central heating & hot water are both very responsive. The 'residents' parking behind worked well. Finally Liz & Chris's welcome briefing on arrival was most helpful.

“Charming holiday flat”

The location is perfect, right in the centre of Eyemouth village. Great base for our 5 night vacation, Golf course close by and lots of lovely coastal walks. The flat was like home from home, charming and comfortable with everything you needed provided. Lovely welcome from the owners, Liz and Chris, and the homemade scones were a lovely touch. We would definitely visit again.

Owners in touch before and after rental to make the booking and stay a good experience. The flat was very clean, and well decorated and furnished. We wanted for nothing. A real home from home. The flat is in the centre of Eyemouth on the High St so close to all shops, cafes, pubs etc. Eyemouth is a lovely little fishing town with a nice harbour area and beach. There isn't a great deal to do but it's good for people who like walking and fishing and you could use it as a base to tour the Scottish Border area. We had a very pleasant stay although the weather was only average. Can recommend.

“A First Class Flat”

The flat turned out to be all that we thought it would tbe, spacious,immaculate,well equipped and very comfortable. We were met on arrival by Liz.and Chris with the key who showed us how everything worked. There is Free Wi Fi ,a welcome pack with milk, butter, tea, coffee , ect which was a nice surprise .The flat is situated in the centre of Eyemouth so within easy reach of places of interest and local shops.A great three day break,and will return again.

This was our first visit to Eyemouth so we went for accommodation in the centre of Eyemouth we were lucky to find Market View first time. Liz and Chris were friendly and made us very welcome. The accommodation was excellent for us although the internal stairs may be a problem for some less able people. Along with the accommodation and the excellent food at the Golf Club we had a very relaxing holiday. Eyemouth is a superb place for relaxation. We did have difficulty with Wi-Fi but all the eating places seemed to have it. We will be back.

“Excellent flat and a great holiday”

Market View is a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay: we felt at home straight away. It is surprisingly spacious and very well appointed, Liz and Chris seem to have thought of everything.There's plenty of storage space and the decor is very thoughtful and attractive. It is, of course, spotlessly clean and well maintained.Being in the town centre it is very handy for the shops (which open very early (from 6 o'clock) in Eyemouth, the bustling and interesting harbour, the beach and the attractions. Amazingly for a town of only 3000, Eyemouth has 3 museums, all of them a must to visit. Market View is ideal as a base for North Northumberland as well as the Scottish Borders. Eyemouth is on the Berwickshire coastal route with amazing sea views and some of the best seabird colonies in Britain,St. Abbs Head is a spectacular walk with thousands of seabirds. Great walking country all around as well as the many stately homes of the Borders. It's a great part of the world and Market View is a great place to stay. Many thanks to Liz and Chris, we're looking forward to our next visit! .
