<p>Eyam is a pretty and quintessential Derbyshire Dales village with plenty of history to discover. This cottage benefits from the village’s amenities,which include a village shop,tea room,post office and traditional pub. Chatsworth and Haddon Hall country houses lie within a 25 minute drive,while fishing,gliding,caving and climbing facilities are also nearby,making this the perfect base for culture and sporting enthusiasts alike.</p><p>The pretty cottage garden brings you straight into the spacious sitting and dining area. With exposed beams,flagstone flooring,crisp white walls,stylish seating and a welcoming log burning stove in a traditional stone fireplace,this room is the perfect mix of new and old. The separate galley style kitchen is compact yet thoughtfully designed,with pretty splash back tiles,bright units and an external door to the rear yard giving off the feeling of more space.</p><p>Upstairs,the master double bedroom enjoys views over the neighbouring croft and Eyam Edge beyond,while the second bedroom has two single beds,an original stone fireplace and garden view. The rooms share a family bathroom,which has a walk in shower and bright white brick tiling providing a contemporary,fresh style.</p><p>Guests are welcome to retreat to the mature cottage garden for an al fresco drink overlooking the pretty floral beds and borders and watching the goings on of village life.</p>
