Description from owner

Description

Holling Grange is A grade II listed period property with self-catering cottages.

Bleu Gris is one of the three individually styled cottages (also Holling Grange Cerise 1295735 and Holling Grange Chocolat 1190282) are formed within a restored tithe barn nestling in the superb setting of Herefordshire's Golden Valley and reputed to have once belonged to the historical Dore Abbey. In this peaceful and secluded setting, the cottages are managed and run by French chef, Cédric and English florist, Dawn. The couple have recently returned from South West France where for the past five years they ran the chambre d' hôtes, La Benjamine.

Holling Grange also has a covered heated swimming pool opened from Easter until late Autumn school holiday.

Whether staying for a weekend, mid week break or a longer vacation. Holling Grange offers you a superb base from which to explore this beautiful region, its rich history and its many activities.

“Quite outstanding all round”

Reviewed 4 Jan 2014

Absolutely beautifully furnished accommodation in part of a converted barn. Glorious scenery, very comfortable all round with a good welcome pack of bread, crisps etc., and plenty of games and books. This lovely place has the added bonus of charming owners and a restaurant that they have built in the upper field - a minute's walk away. The food is outstanding; Cedric, the owner, is a superb chef, and Dawn has a delightful shop alongside stocked with irresistible things . If you want a truly relaxing break in beautiful English countryside this is your place. We can't stay away!

Owner's reply: Merci Beaucoup, we so look forward to welcome you again. Kindest wishes for 2014. A bientot. Cedric et Dawn
