My wife and i needed a relaxing break and this cabin was just the tonic.Set in beautiful surroundings, peaceful and well maintained.Carla and her father were very helpful .We are going back again this year , a truly lovely holiday destination.

“Spot on!”

Reviewed 26 Apr 2013

I booked Tafelberg for a surprise birthday weekend away for my husband. When we arrived we both instantly really liked the cabin and its location. The cabin itself was clean, warm and had everything you need for a relaxing break. The location is great, overlooking the river with a lovely well maintained gardened. The snow which fell while we were there made it even more picturesque. Each morning a pair of swans and ducks shared our toast! If the weather had been a little warmer we would have taken the kayak out! We explored the near by towns of worcester and strafford, both well worth a visit. Also we ate at the local pub which provides good pub meals at very reasonable prices. We would highly recommend Tafelberg to anybody. Carla and Ian were both very welcoming. My husband liked this cabin so much he wants to find a similar spot and build his own!

“The perfect retreat!”

Reviewed 15 Apr 2013

I booked our stay at Tefelberg as a surprise long weekend away for my partner's birthday. Being busy people, we both needed a quiet retreat in which to recharge our batteries and Tafelberg turned out to be more than we could have ever wished for. Set in a picturesque, quiet riverside location, the cabin is well maintained and equipped with everything we needed for our stay (though we didn't get to try out the bikes and kayak provided!). The garden is beautiful and our border collie just loved the private access points straight into the river! We loved sitting on the veranda first thing in the morning with our coffee, overlooking the garden and river, listening to all the birds singing away. And the riverside walks on our doorstep, coupled with the cosy nights in with the log fire lit, were a bonus! Tafelberg is now our secret escape and we are already planning our return later in the year. Perfect, just perfect! Thank you.

“fantastic cabin beautiful location”

Tafelberg is really lovely. The cabin is extremely comfortable with every convienience you could need. Two good size bedrooms with comfy beds & lovely fresh linen with plenty of spare if needed. The main bathroom is huge & the shower room a good size too.A well fitted kitchen with fridge, freezer, micro, washing machine & cooking facilities. The location is fantastic right on the river perfect for a bit of fishing or canoeing & surrounded by a very pretty garden & countryside. The way in is through a very smart caravan site & down a track which leads to the cabin, perfect if you want to get away from it all.We were met as arranged & taken in & shown around .Relaxing in the sunshine on the veranda was bliss & when the sun went down inside was lovely & cosy the central heating making it very warm.A big bonus for us was being dog friendly ... we took two.A lovely area with some very pretty villages.Highly recommended

“Idyllic location right next to the river Avon.”

Reviewed 19 Aug 2012

We loved the location of the lodge, peaceful, private and set in beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed using the kayak to paddle up and down the river and having wireless internet for our teenage daughter was a big plus. The lodge was well equipped with everything you need and was clean and comfortable, we wouldn't hesitate to go back. If you want to de-stress and chill out this is the lodge for you. Thanks to Ian and Carla for making it a very enjoyable stay.

“Perfect riverside retreat”

Reviewed 26 Jun 2012

Staying here for the 3rd time is just as magical as the first visit. Firstly - the cabin itself is clean, spacious and very well equipped for both the indoors and the outdoors. It sits in beautiful and private landscaped gardens right on the banks of the River Avon and in a meadow with miles of country walks along the river on the doorstep. So .... for the sunnier days, kayaking , walking and relaxing in the garden (lots of seating) are all equally enjoyable. For the traditional British wet summer, the cabin has all you need - entertainment systems, comfortable furniture and a balcony to keep dry while enjoying the garden. For worn out souls, the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms well equipped and spacious. So if tranquillity, comfort and idyllic surroundings are what you seek, Tafelberg will give you exactly this. Backing all this up is the excellent service provided by the owners. They do their level best to ensure all goes perfectly smoothly - much appreciated.

“Excellent property with scenic location next to a river”

Reviewed 24 Jun 2012

We had a great stay in this nice property located at a very scenic location next to a river. A clean and well kept cottage with all needed facilities, including those for out door activities. Away from the hustle and bustle the big cities, ideal stay for liesurely holiday close to nature. Enjoyed feeding he ducks and swans! Evesham has large stores for all kinds of needs. Tourist atteractions like Warwick castle and Stafford on Avon are close. Thanks Ian and Carla for making us comfortable.

“An amazing cabin in a perfect tranquil location”

Reviewed 21 Feb 2012

We stayed at this cabin after a friend had suffered a bereavement and needed to get away from it all. The cabin was perfect, set in a meadow right on the river with magnificent views in all directions. The facilities were fantastic, every thing you could possibly need. Our booking was dealt with efficiency and Carla was really helpful and friendly. 10 min drive from the lovely village of Evesham with plenty to do there and some wonderful walks in the area. If you are looking for a place away from it all then this is the place to come, it's amazing.
