This comfortable and extremely spacious 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom penthouse holiday rental apartment is situated in a prime position on the exclusive El Presidente development, which is close to Marbella, San Pedro, Puerto Banus and Estepona. The south facing terrace overlooks one of the five swimming pools and surrounding gardens and enjoys the early morning until mid-afternoon sun. Tiled in marble throughout and tastefully furnished with style and comfort in mind, this apartment offers all the conveniences of modern living including hot/cold air conditioning and communal satellite television with UK channels.
The apartment consists of a large comfortably furnished lounge and dining area with the kitchen being fully equipped with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave together with ample dining and cooking utensils. There is a separate laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, TV and a large en-suite bathroom whilst bedroom two has another double bed with en-suite bathroom. The third bedroom has twin beds and a full bathroom adjacent. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, French windows and blinds.
El Presidente is one of the very few urbanisations on the coast that boasts an outdoor heated pool, which means that you can swim all year round. There are five communal pools in total, all very close to the apartment and situated in the pretty tropical gardens, all supplied with ample sunloungers. The main pool gently shelves and has a separate shallow area for the smaller children to enjoy. There is communal WiFi at a designated Hotspot near to the community office and there are nearby tennis and paddle tennis courts which are for use of owners and guests of El Presidente solely.

If you are not hiring a car, taxis are readily available and there is a very reliable bus service to all the local towns, i.e. Estepona, Marbella and Puerto Banus. A full driving description and map will be sent to you before your arrival date. You will be met and shown to your apartment by one of us personally and we are to hand should you need any assistance during your stay.

The Andalucia region
The Costa del Sol boasts a vast expanse of activities, sightseeing and history. Many within easy reach of the area where the apartment is located. The trendy and famous Puerto Banus, with its bars, clubs and restaurants, is 5 minutes drive away. In winter, you can breakfast on your terrace and by lunchtime you can be ski-ing in the Sierra Nevada Mountains near to Granada. Many of the famous golf courses are nearby and children (and adults!) can enjoy a day at the Selwo Safari Park. Gibraltar, with its history and tax free shopping is only 40 minutes drive away and a spectacular sight to see (don't forget to take your passport with you). Ronda and the many surrounding white Andalucian villages have great historic interest and give an insight to the 'real' Spain. All along the Costa del Sol, there are safe and clean beaches. A visit to the town and beach of Tarifa, just beyond Gibraltar, is well worth it, especially if you are a keen windsurfer or kite boarder. Inland, take a visit to El Chorro and for the fearless among you take a walk along the Camino del Rey and then drive back to the lake area, all with the most breath-taking scenery and interesting historical background.
El Presidente: This is a popular, well located and attractive family orientated urbanisation right next to the clean, safe, uncrowded beach. It is a popular choice and people return here year after year. It is situated between the towns of San Pedro and Estepona and within walking distance to Benavista and Diana Commercial Centres where there are very good local amenities including a vast range of good restaurants, friendly bars, well stocked supermarkets, banks and sports facilities. The quaint village of Cancelada is just a five minute drive away where you can enjoy a meal in one of the good restaurants. You can reach the popular but unspoilt mountainside village of Benahavis within fifteen minutes drive and there you can enjoy a stroll around the pretty squares and art and craft shops and take your choice from the many very good restaurants.
Estepona: This is an extremely pretty town, which has managed to preserve a peaceful atmosphere, and still provides a good example of an Andalucian white village. The town centre has many shops, traditional bars and restaurants offering a wide selection of dishes catering to all tastes. The popular ice cream parlours and tapas bars in and around Old Town (Casco Antiguo) are a must to visit where you can stroll around the pretty Mediterranean squares radiating with great atmosphere. Estepona has a wide, clean, sandy beach called La Rada, which is constantly being awarded the European Blue Flag and has chiringitos (beach bars) dotted all along it and at the far end of the town is Cristo Beach with a gently shelving cove. The pretty tree lined promenade, popular for walking, cycling, running, connects the town with the port and has two childrens play areas. The port was constructed in 1977 and provides a contrast with the old town. The marina has two sections – one is the fishing port with boats unloading their catch on a daily basis providing local restaurants with fresh produce. The other part of the port is leisure and sport orientated, bustling with a fine selection of bars and restaurants. Dolphin and fishing trips can be booked from one of the agents in the port.
San Pedro: This town sits between Puerto Banus and Estepona. It is an Andalucian style town with an abundance of shops, tapas bars and restaurants and now the new Boulevard park and activity area. It is only a short stroll from the bustling town centre to the beach, where you will find ample space to soak up the sun and enjoy one of the beach bars which offer a wide range of fish dishes and well as other local delights. San Pedro retains its Spanish atmosphere and is a great contrast to the neighbouring Puerto Banus. The newly opened San Pedro Boulevard park provides a great place to take an evening stroll into the town or a daytime jog and use of the outdoor gym equipment.
Puerto Banus: This is located just 10 minutes from the centre of Marbella, 5 minutes from the town of San Pedro de Alcantara, and 15 minutes from Estepona. Its famous port with luxury yachts, open air bars and restaurants attracts visitors from all over the world. During the day, it is a shopper's paradise with many designer shops, boutiques and El Corte Ingles department store. In the evening, the bars, clubs and restaurants can entertain you throughout the night. There is a multi-screen cinema, with at least one film a week in English, regular local boat trips and the popular Saturday market held near the bullring.
