The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with all the modern appliances you would expect including a juicer. There are two bedrooms, a double room and twin room. Each room is fully furnished and has ample storage space as well as its own bathroom.

The very spacious lounge/dining room area, with double patio doors opening out to the large private garden is equipped with Satellite TV (All the most popular UK Channels. BBC, ITV, Channel 4 etc), DVD player and a CD player with radio for your entertainment.

WiFi Internet Access.

For those of you who like to keep in touch with Cyber Space, there is access to a secure password protected "WiFi" hotspot (provided by Mercury Wireless Internet) in the apartment. There is also access to a secure “Wi-Fi Hotspot” which is available at the Albayt Club House and is free to guests using the facilities (eg Restaurant, Coffee Bar, Gym, Spa etc).

The property is secured with door and window shutters and an alarm system. There is also 24 hour on site security and the Security Guards regularly patrol the entire site and underground parking areas.

For your car there is a designated space in the secure underground car park beneath the apartment.

The development has 7 outdoor pools. The split level pool with a bar "Chiringuito" is located beside the apartment (about 25 meters away).

To the rear of the apartment there is a good sized private garden (6X10 meters or approx. 20X35 feet) with terrace. Sun loungers are provided together with a table and chairs for "al fresco" dining on the warm balmy nights, as you take in the beautiful view from the terrace of the Sierra Bermeja Mountains National Park and surrounding unspoilt countryside.

A safe children's play area is also provided close by with swings and slides etc.

The Andalucia region

Over the last few decades, the Costa del Sol has become one of the world’s most popular holiday destinations. Its pleasant climate, numerous beaches and Golf courses have certainly influenced this. There are countless places to visit and things to do which make it one of the most successful tourist areas.

Its capital, Malaga, and the city of Marbella are both cosmopolitan cities with great nightlife as well as cultural significance and attract the most tourists. It is a vast area with many different faces from the touristy beach towns like Marbella to the more traditional white washed villages of Mijas.

Costa del Sol doesn’t just possess a good climate but it also has diversity. It is no wonder it is so popular with holiday makers, both young and old.


The property is situated between the charming old town of Estepona and the lovely Puerto de La Duquesa, both only a few minutes away by car. Cosmopolition Marbella (great for shopping) and the dazzling Puerto Banus (great for people watching) are only 15/20 minutes away.

There are several attractions close by to interest the whole family. Selwo Safari Park in Estepona with its animals roaming semi-wild is a great day out as is the Zoo in Fuengirola. There are also two Water Parks close by, one in Mijas Costa and the other in Torremolinos.

A great day out is a visit to Gibraltar, (but don't forget your passport) where you can take a tour of "The Rock" and have close contact with the Apes. For the more adventurous, you can also take a day trip to Morocco on the fast Ferry from Algeciras. Also in the area are several beautiful villages, towns and cites. These include Casares , Ronda, Mijas, Benhavis, Selville and Granada to name but a few.

If you prefer to stay close to the Country Club you can indulge yourself (at a very reasonable weekly membership fee - see for up to date details) in the indoor heated Swimming Pool, Turkish bath, Sauna and various Treatment Showers with hot and cold jets and essential oils. Hydraulic beds for massage, Jacuzzi, Massage rooms and all the usual Beauty treatments etc. are also provided. Some of these services will cost extra, eg massages and beauty treatments.

Outside the Club House there is another large pool plus a separate smaller children's pool. A 3 hole practice golf facility with putting area and a covered driving range is available to all guests. Paddle tennis courts are also available, adjacent to the Club House.

If you prefer to swim in the sea, the beautiful beaches of Estepona, Duquesa, Sotogrande, Puerto Banus and Marbella are only a few minutes away by car. There is also a natural beach opposite the entrance to the Costa Galera development (Bermuda Beach, about 250 meters from the apartment) which is accessible on foot by crossing the N340 roadway

The Costa del Sol is also known as the Costa del Golf, with good reason. There are at least 40 courses along the coastline. Closest to the Apartment are Estepona and Duquesa, both within a 5 minute drive and reasonably priced. The famous Valderrama course is only 15 minutes away as is San Roque, Marbella, Atalaya, El Paraiso and Sontogrande. A Handicap Certificate is required by most Golf Clubs.

The lively resorts of Fuengirola and Torrelmolinos are within easy reach by car, bus or taxi. Malaga airport is only a 50 minute drive. Other airports include Gibraltar (30 minutes) and Jerez (75 minutes).

The beautiful whitewashed village of Caseras is a 15 minute drive and the ancient town of Ronda, with it's breathtaking views a futher 45 minutes.

Estepona is one of the most westerly towns of the Costa del Sol and one of the most important tourist towns. It is situated right on the coast, 81km from Malaga, between Marbella and Manilva. It has excellent facilities, from restaurants and bars to fantastic beaches. The area is laden with activities to keep visitors busy and the area around is bursting of fascinating sites and places to see.

There certainly is something for everyone here. Within Estepona you can find a traditional old style Andalusian Pueblo. But you’ll also find a thoroughly modern holiday destination. "Ultimate self-catering in a quiet place"

This is a good place to stay with small children - it has good kitchen, washing machine and a garden. Everything as described in the ad. You have to be prepared to do your own cleaning, cooking and a lot of driving. The beach is not accessible by foot and the closest one is not the best one. There is a bar serving food right outside the apartment, but their kitchen works very odd hours, we could never eat at the times we wanted (1ish for lunch, 6ish for dinner). Also be prepared for Flamenco show right outside your bedroom window every Saturday till midnight. We chose "if you can beat them, join them" tactic as our kids were older and could make it. It could be a problem with a younger child. There is not much to do in the complex for the older kids, only the pool. Mine were missing things like mini disco or even a playground. The internet is so overpriced, it feels like 1990. You will absolutely need a car in this place!

For clarification:- The apartment is thoroughly cleaned by my on-site property management company before new guests arrive and immediately after their departure. Guests would be expected to keep the apartment clean during their stay and this is stated in the information pack sent to all guests before their arrival. The apartment is advertised as a self-catering unit but guests can choose to use the Restaurant in the Albayt Country Club which is open all year round. In the high season (July & August) the pool bar (Akua's Chiringuito) is open and serves light snacks/drinks for bathers. Likewise the free Saturday night Flamenco show only takes place in July & August. The wifi in the apartment (which is now free) is provided by Mercury (on a pay-as-you-use basis) and was priced at 39 Euro for 2 weeks and 49 Euro for a month. The recommendation to have a car is clearly stated on my Holiday Lettings site and is essential for guests who wish to visit the beaches and other places of interest in or around Estepona and on the Costa del Sol. "Pleasantly Peaceful"

The holiday home was the perfect size for my husband, two small children and myself. A little of the beaten path and therefore quite but still close enough to everything that you don't feel secluded. The apartment does requires you have your own transportation. The resort is well maintained and has the essentials to relax. The apartment garden is a nice size to be able to enjoy the weather.

"The good vacation spot with some problems and not come back deposit of 150 pounds"

I decided to write a response as 1,5 years the epic with deposit return lasts. I didn't want anything to write as stopped more well-planned places, than it though according to the description all is very good earlier. After arrival it was necessary to make cleaning as there was a dust and sand, we were with the small child. It was necessary to get sharp knifes, the barbecue was with the burned-through bottom, the Internet wasn't connected without the special equipment which before booking didn't make a reservation and the price was rather expensive. For the rest all was acceptable though of trifles there is an impression. But ourselves to ourselves created a holiday. Visited many beautiful places of Spain. About 5000 kilometers наездили from Andorra, Barcelona, Madrid to Siviliya and Kadiz. But most not pleasant was then when it was necessary to return the insurance deposit. Through bank couldn't translate though all my translations reached in full. The check sent to the home address anywhere don't cash in Russia and in Europe. Thus checks to me went 2-3 months, and back returned in 2-3 weeks. The check was returned. And now no word. I ask site administrators in assistance.

We are so sorry that despite the many attempts to return the security deposit to your bank in Russia (through your clearing bank in London) and by Sterling/Euro bank drafts (via registered letter post on two occasions), we were unsuccessful. This was nobody’s fault (other than perhaps the International Banking systems complexity) and I would very much like to thank you for recently agreeing to open a PayPal account to enable me to finally return your deposit straight away without any problems. I have brought your concerns about the cleaning, barbecue and cutlery to the on-site management company and I thank you for bringing this to my attention. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused. The barbeque and cutlery have since been replaced. I now have an independent representative who personally checks the apartment before any new guests arrive to ensure everything is in order and who meets and greets my guests at the start of their holiday. I had the wifi Internet in my apartment checked by a Mercury Internet technician immediately after your departure and he could find no fault with the system which has always worked well since it was installed in 2011 up to the present date.

"Comfortable and relaxing place at a good value"

Had very nice time with my family (husband and 5 months old baby) and would come back again. Loved the fully equipped kitchen, the living room was spacious, the garden was lovely. Only thing needs to be changed are the beds and pillows (very uncomfy). Car is highly recommended as the apartment is 10 km from Estepona's centre. Shopping is 2 min by car in both directions. There are a lot of places to see within a short drive: Gibraltar, Marbella, Ronda (takes 1 hour due to mountain roads but it is an amazing and must to see), Selwo zoo, etc. Local spanish restaurants can be found all over the coast, it does worth to explore outside turistic citycenters, you will find charming tapas bars in small hidden ports.

"Ideal for family group"

My brother and I both booked apartments in the Albayt Resort for our families to holiday together - there seem to be plenty available to rent. The resort is ideal - plenty of pools to lounge around and rarely did we have problems getting a sun lounger. Lots of shady places too. The Club staff are very friendly and the coffee gorgeous. Large flat screen TV in the lounge area to take in the Olympics and free wifi which was well used. A car is essential to get into Estepona and to shop at the numerous cheap supermarkets along the main road. The apartment is ideally placed - just a few steps from the chiringuita and a split level pool. The garden is bigger than some and has lovely views. Air con very efficient. Bedrooms compact but with excellent storage, good size ensuite and shower room, couches comfy, tv reception fine, dvd player useful. Kitchen well equipped with fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave and dishwasher. Superb pizzas and pasta at restaurant near entrance to Albayt resort. We had a great time and excellent value for money! Many thanks Tom.

"Stress free family holiday"

We had a fabulous holiday. Dealing was Tom was easy and stress free. Very quick to reply to my emails, always helpful and made us feel at ease. The apartment for us was perfect. It provided a great base for us to explore the area. We were very lucky with the weather, it was glorious and we made good use of the pools. We were also lucky as we had the pools to ourselves for most of our stay. We would love to come back and stay and would recommend the apartment to our friends and family. We went to Gibralter and went to Marbella, both about a 20 min drive. We found some nice beaches along the coastline, and we found Puerto de la Duquesa, gorgeous place with lovely resturants and bars with such a relaxed atmosphere. Perfect.

"Lovely apartment - superb value for money!"

Tom's instructions for finding the apartment were spot on and we were pleasantly surprised to find the interior living area quite a bit bigger than I had expected based on the photos. Everything was spotless and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. We found the beds comfortable with masses of storage in the bedrooms. The garden was a lovely bonus and we used the sunbeds in them on a daily basis. The pool was metres away from the apartment and was lovel. Pity the poolside bar wasn't open when we were there! You can't easily walk to the beach due to the busy coast road and the beach is a bit stoney there too, however we drove to two different beaches in Estepona about 5-10 minutes drive away which were lovely. The Sunday market in Estepona is worth a visit. Tom always responded instantly whenever I texted him which was very reasuring when we needed his help. I would definately go again!
