Lovely, bright, south facing 2 bedroom modern penthouse apartment enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of the beach, the port, the town and the Mediterranean with Gibraltar and Africa on the horizon. Sleeps 2 to 3. Accommodation: Entrance hall, large living room with dining area leading to south-facing L-shaped sun terrace, fully fitted open kitchen with all modern appliances separated from the living area by a bar unit. 2 bedrooms: 1 large double with kingsize bed and 1 single with single bed. Both bedrooms are fitted with spacious built-in wardrobes. Full bathroom with shower & glass shower screen on bath.
The apartment occupies a privileged position on the top floor of a gated complex situated in a quiet area, yet only some 100 metres from the beach and an easy 5 minute stroll to the fishing port/marina and historic town centre. There is a gate at the back of the complex leading to a pedestrian avenue with a beautiful park and fountain. Some of the best tapas bars and restaurants are on your doorstep. The amenities include concierge, large secluded swimming pool set among well-cared-for mature gardens, paddle pool, kids play area, gymnasium, jacuzzi, air conditioning (hot & cold), double glazing, secure private underground parking, lift & wheelchair access.
ESTEPONA is a fishing village that has grown into a desirable cosmopolitan beach resort, yet it still maintains its Spanish character. Only a 50 minute drive from Málaga Airport and lying at the foothills of Sierra Bermeja mountain, it has a historic centre of narrow white streets, beautiful squares, fishing port, sports marina, beach promenade and glorious sandy beaches. Local amenities include shops, supermarkets, hypermarket, museums, open air activities in the iconic bull ring, street markets, artisan markets, pedestrianised centre for shopping and sight-seeing, with a large selection of bars, local and international restaurants and beach bars (Chiringuitos). For those who enjoy sports, there are a variety of activities and amenities: Sports centres, water sports, trekking, horse riding, boat fishing excursions and dolphin watching. The Costa del Sol's most westerly resort, Estepona lies approximately half way along the coastline between Gibraltar and Malaga and is 25 kilometres west of Marbella. The North of Africa is a short ferry crossing from the nearby port of Algeciras. Nature reserves such as Sierra Bermeja, Los Alcornocales, Sierra de las Nieves and Los Pedregales surround the Estepona area. There is also the renowned Selwo wildlife park, which is only a few kilometres away. Typical inland white mountain villages such as Casares, Gaucin, Jimena de la Frontera, Manilva or the Castle of Castellar are also well worth a visit. The ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada, above the historic city of Granada, are only 2.5 hours away. Ronda, with its spectacular gorge, is a short drive away. Wonderful stay in Estapona. Great Mediterranean views of Gibraltar and Africa. Well stocked apartment with all that you need. Lovely hosts. Very highly recommended.

"Brilliant apartment, good location"
This is a very well equipped ,south facing, top floor apartment with good WIFI. Quiet, secure complex a few minutes stroll from the harbour and beach.The town centre is a 10/15 min stroll along the promenade. If you like the beach an added bonus is the Chiringuito Tropical, family run and excellent food. There are many places to eat, nearby and in the town, we felt they were all good value. Diana, the owner, met us on arrival and in addition to a lot of useful info provided some essential foodstuffs to get us started - a nice touch. Estepona is a nice town with a good beach and a real "Spanish" atmosphere, we liked it and would return.

"Relaxing and comfortable"
Very clean and well presented, with lots of staple items in the cupboard (tea, coffee etc) you don't normally get. We particularly liked the location, in a quiet area but within easy walking distance to either the port or the town, with no need for a car, which you can leave in the secure garage below. The apartment and the views are exactly as shown on the website, the welcome was very friendly and the whole stay was hassle free. All in all a very enjoyable week's stay.
