“A beautiful property in a stunning country setting”

Reviewed 16 Jan 2015

La Maisonnette was found to be an extremely well-appointed property. Both stylish and very comfortable it has old country charm combined with the best of up to date conveniences such as good heating for the cooler months. Hospitable hosts enhanced our thoroughly enjoyable stay.

“Most magically magnificent spot. A hidden gem”

Reviewed 11 Jan 2015

We were absolutely blown away at the beauty of this cottage and the area and town. What a magical oasis they have created. The hosts are endlessly helpful and thoughtful. The cottage truly is like something out of a fairy tale. You drive up a little winding road in the middle of beautiful woods into the most perfect little hamlet of stone houses. The energy of the area is somehow both peaceful and energizing. The house is chic and immaculately decorated. It is spotlessly clean and full of every little extra detail you never even knew you wanted. The heated tiles in the kitchen are heavenly. The fireplace makes such a cozy and inviting place to sit and read, it was hard to leave the cottage and explore some of the most beautiful little french villages we have ever seen. We will be back again and again. It was completely by accident we stumbled upon the cottage and Such wonderful luck. It is one of our favorite place We've ever stayed, hands down!”

“Beautifully presented cottages”

A most delightful stay. Lovely countryside. The cottage was beautifully restored, tastefully decorated. The hosts most helpful. I would heartily recommend these cottages to any family who wants to get away fro it all.

Lovely cottage. Exactly as per online detail. Entraguyues area so lovely, and only a short drive into town. Lovely pool area. Hampers on arrival an absolute godsend! Will return if able in short order! Thanks to Raine and Lance for hospitality.

“The perfect experience; a real Gem.”

It was by blind luck that I ended up in LA Maisonette. My first thought upon arrival was that I had accidentally stumbled into the wrong place. How did I manage to secure a place to stay that was so well appointed, and so welcoming. Rain and Lance are the perfect hosts. Always accommodating, they go out of their way to ensure a stay that exceeds expectations.

“A Charming Cottage with Breathtaking Views; an incredible stay.”

Reviewed 31 Aug 2014

La Maisonnette is beautiful designed and decorated with absolutely stunning views. The cottage has all the modern amenities one could hope for, but with its beam ceilings, hardwood floors, provincial decor and unique antiques, it preserves and embodies Southwest France. Walking near La Maisonnette feels like stepping into a storybook: the views are unparalleled, and there are vineyards and farms to see. Lance and Rain (the owners) are kind and extremely helpful, and have great recommendations of sites, restaurants, and things to see near the area. I have toured a lot of France and can conclusively say this is one of the prettiest, and one of my favorite spots. I cannot wait to return.

“Wonderful self-catering accommodation in Banroque”

Reviewed 8 Aug 2014

Having stayed in a hotel in Entraygues-sur-Truyeres a couple of times before we wanted to find suitable self catering accommodation this time. We have! La Maisonette is very well equipped and comfortable with good wi-fi connection and full British TV together with DVD facilities including a range of DVDs. The terrace outside overlooking the Lot valley was a delight. Having discovered Banroque we shall definitely return.

“The cottages and property were beautiful view was breathtaking.”

The cottage was beautiful it was well stocked with everything you would need for a lengthy stay. The view and gardens were lovely there was a patio with an outdoor eating area and BBQ. The cottage and surrounding property is very well maintained, you can tell that the owners have a great love for the area. The owners were very helpful and were happy to assists us when we needed it. The rental is close to town and shopping and there was plenty of information to help us find anything we might need such as grocery restaurants and shopping. I loved my stay at La Maisonnette and would certainly stay there again and would highly recommend to all my friends and family! It was gorgeous!

“Second to none: wonderful accommodation, beautiful location and the most considerate hosts imaginable.”

Reviewed 4 May 2014

We were already dedicated to this lovely part of France, but were still bowled over by this delightful cottage, its facilities and the surrounding amenities, including fantastic walks, cultural sights and pretty, 'real' villages. The owners, Rain and Lance, did everything possible to make our stay as pleasant as possible, even presented us with freshly harvested, delicious vegetables from their own garden! Their expert advice on the locality, food and wine and local practices were invaluable.

“A place that touches the soul.”
