“Brilliant”

Reviewed 4 Nov 2016

Such a fabulous house, well equipped, toasty warm, very clean and a lovely homely feel. Really close to florencecourt and Marble Arch caves which is why we picked it but also less than 10 minutes to enniskillen. Plenty to see and do - half an hour to belleek pottery which is well worth a visit. Tully and monea Castles too.. Close to the border to nip over & take in some sites there too! Thank u Mark for such a warm welcome, apple tart, cream and a few essentials in the fridge were really appreciated too. We arrived for half term Halloween break & mark had even decorated the house for the occasion. I would recommend Mark and his house to anyone.

Owner's reply: Its was a pleasure to meet you all and that u enjoyed your stay. All been well we will meet again. Mark

“Excellent self catering bungalow”

Reviewed 29 Jun 2016

We have just returned from a four day stay at Mountview and had a wonderful time. The bungalow is modern, spacious and spotlessly clean. The kitchen/diner is very well equipped with everything you need and more. My 90yr old Mum loved the sun room... so relaxing, with views of the beautiful garden and beyond to the hills. Mark was more than helpful and only a txt away if needed ,and Gladys regaled us with some interesting local knowledge! This is first class accomodation in the beautiful and peaceful Florencecourt countryside. Thank you Mark and Gladys for making us most welcome and we look forward to seeing you next year!

Owner's reply: Great u enjoyed ur visit. Thank you for ur kind words.

“Beautiful home in scenic location”

Reviewed 31 Jul 2014

We received a warm friendly welcome from Gladys on arrival, the tea, delicious scones and cakes went down a treat! The house and gardens were immaculate, furnished to a high standard, well deserving of its 5 star status. So quiet and peaceful. The location was ideal for exploring the area by car and there was plenty of information provided of places of interest to visit. Mark and Gladys are really helpful, make every effort to ensure you want for nothing and have an enjoyable stay.

Owner's reply: Thank you very much for your comments about Mountview, look forward to seeing you or friends in the future.

“Beautiful, spacious house - and pets may come too.”

Reviewed 13 Aug 2013

My daughters and I wanted to get away from it all, following a frantic July. The first thing that attracted us about this property was the words, "Pets may be allowed" - for various reasons we wanted to bring our dog with us. (PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST CONFIRM WITH THE OWNER BEFORE BRINGING ANY PETS.) There's lots of room in the garden for a dog; the house is set back from the road and the property has a good fence and gate so it's quite safe. The second thing which attracted us was the photos of the property. When we arrived, we found that they hadn't done the place full justice. The house is very spacious; there's enough seating in the lounge/sun room area for up to ten people. It would be great for outdoor entertaining too, with a picnic table close to the house and a sun deck and gazebo further up the garden. The furnishings are top notch - I was particularly impressed by the gas-fired range (huge and gleaming), the dining room chairs (so quiet even on the tiled floor), and the leather recliner suite (very comfortable, even for me with shoulder and back pain). The owner was very helpful; he met us on the road to guide us to the house, provided a pile of literature about the area, and when we had a problem with the alarm system in the middle of the night, he cheerfully provided instructions by phone. He also actively sought our opinions and suggestions for any improvements before we left. All in all, a wonderful place from which to base your exploration of Fermanagh

Owner's reply: Thank you Valerie for your kind words about my house. It was a pleasure to meet you and your family, plus your wee dog!. Hopefully we will meet again or maybe some off your friends.
