Description

Welcome to Meadow View Apartment, 4 Star Northern Ireland Tourist Board approved self-catering accommodation. Set in an idyllic location in the picturesque village of Belcoo, Co.Fermanagh, with spectular views overlooking the Cottage Meadow and Lough Mac Nean set against the stunning backdrop of the Cuilcagh mountains.

The village location allows you to walk to shops, pubs and restaurants including the multi award-winning famous MacNean Bistro owned by Chef Neven Maguire.

The apartment has been beautifully finished to a very high standard in a contemporary style. It contains two double bedrooms plus a fold up bed and a bathroom with jacuzzi bath and separate power shower. Cots available.

The large kitchen/dining room has all conveniences: dishwasher, washing machine, tumble-dryer, double oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, large dining table, DVD/CD player, thermostat controlled central heating, WiFi. The dining area opens onto the spacious lounge to create a bright and practical open plan living area.

Belcoo provides an ideal base to explore the beautiful Fermanagh Lakelands as well as Cavan, Leitrim, Sligo, Donegal and the stunning Altantic coastline. Along with many attractions one of Europe´s finest show caves, Marble Arch Caves European Geopark, is a 5-minute drive. Cuilcagh Mountain Park, with 2 walking trails available to reach the summit of Cuilcagh, takes in 2,500 hectares on the northern slopes of Cuilcagh Mountain in southern Fermanagh and is at the heart of the Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark.

Other natural beauties such as the Mourne Mountains in County Down, and the Giants Causeway and the Titanic Quarter in County Antrim are all possible day trips and make this part of Ireland a spectacular place to visit.

“Great Apartment in Belcoo”

Excellent apartment in the centre of Belcoo. Very clean and very well finished off. Could easily spend a week in this aparment and use it as a base for exploring the North West.

I would recommend this apartment to anyone who is staying away from home. The apartment is modern and spotlessly clean. The bed is comfortable and there are plenty of blankets and pillows etc. The furniture is lovely including the kitchen table, which is especially lovely just to sit in at night and have a glass or two. The bathroom for me was just gorgeous and the bath was especially welcome after a day out and about - don't put too much bubble bath in the jacuzzi bath though ....as we discovered when we couldn't see anything but bubbles lol! . If I had any issue at all it was the hob - I like to cook but I couldnt control the heating - it turned itself off and was difficult to maintain a constant heat. Otherwise this really is a beautiful apartment and we would hope to return very soon.

We were very happy with this spacious and well-apponted apartment in Belcoo. It is in a very nice situation with views down to Lough MacNean and is a good base for exploring West Fermanagh. Enniskillen is only a short drive away. Recommended.

We stayed in this apartment in Belcoo for a weekend in July. The apartment was beautiful and very clean. It was just what we wanted. Very quiet little village and all the attractions and sites within driveable distance. Would highly recommend this apartment. The owner and the staff in the Pharmacy below were very helpful and pleasant. The only downside was the weather but there is not a lot you can do about that!!

We found a welcoming apartment, with great services and nicely furnished, overlooking the nearby park and lough. Belcoo is a great base to explore Enniskillen and the surrounding country side. Local shops and pubs provide amenities at a stones throw. A lovely apartment to stay at to explore the north west.

My wife and I wanted to contact distant relatives and to visit the countryside from where our ancestors emmigrated to Canda. This is an excellent central location for the Fermanagh area. The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable. The owner, Joe McAleer, was very helpful and cleared up some of our confusion on how to operate unfamiliar appliances promptly. It is in the village of Belcoo. The local residents were very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this property to those travelling to this part of Northern Ireland.
