House rules

Smoking outdoors only.
We have two sociable cats living on the premises but you only allow them in the cottage if you wish and there are three very strict rules. 1. Cats are not allowed on the beds. 2. Cats must be out at night when you go to bed. 3.Cats are not allowed in if crying to get inside, as this sets up a habit which other guests might find annoying.

“Clean, quiet cottage in East Clare”

Reviewed 19 May 2014

This one-bedroom cottage was the perfect place to rest, read, paint, and think about writing that novel! It consists of an open living room, bathroom, and small kitchen, with a very comfortable bed atop a loft. Our host was totally welcoming, flexible, and neighborly (with her main house located right next to the cottage). This was a visit to the real Ireland, with farm yard sounds and wild flowers outside the door. An easy drive to Loch Derg, Ennis, and villages of East Clare, known for the best traditional music in Ireland.

“The pure Irish experience”

Reviewed 3 May 2014

We enjoyed staying at this beautiful stone cottage very much. The home is decorated with much love to detail, and we felt very comfortable right from the beginning. It is located in a stunning landscape about 15 mins by car from Tulla. You can do day trips to the Burren and Connemara National Parks but the neighborhood is worth seeing as well!
