Our Sunset Hideaway Retreat is the perfect beachfront getaway and hideaway!!! Open your back door and you're just steps to the sandy shores and pristine waters of the Gulf of Mexico beaches. Come and relax on the beach in this fully furnished one bedroom, one bath downstairs retreat located on gorgeous Manasota Key in Southwest Florida.

Sunset Hideaway guests have a beachfront backyard where you can literally 'waste the day away' or go walking, shelling or shark tooth collecting, swimming, sit under an umbrella, or watch a mesmerizing sunset. We have plenty of COMPLIMENTARY beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, and bicycles available for you to use. Just pack a bag and we make the rest easy for you to relax and enjoy your vacation!

Wake up to the sounds of the surf in this quiet island retreat as you watch the dolphins and pelicans play outside your back door while you enjoy the cool, calming Gulf of Mexico waters. End your day watching a nightly sunset from the living area or step outside on your patio to sit in a comfy chair or take a few steps to the sandy shores of your own beach. 

Sunset Hideaway Retreat has just been completely outfitted with NEW everything. This retreat offers a fully stocked kitchen with a dining and living area, a bedroom with a king size bed, and one bathroom with a walk-in shower. The living area has a queen size sleeper sofa with an upgraded memory foam mattress for added comfort.

Please Note: This retreat is designed to accommodate 2 adults and 1 teenager (16 years or older) which is the maximum number allowed. 

This retreat provides you with all the amenities to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Some of the amenities include a keyless entry door, microwave, side by side refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, free cable connected 55" Smart TV in the living room as well as a 43" Smart TV in the bedroom, and FREE wireless internet access. Be sure to bring your log in information to access all your favorites on our Smart TV's: Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, etc... There is also a COMPLIMENTARY laundry with front-loading washer and dryer.  For the cooks in the group, an outdoor gas grill is available. COMPLIMENTARY bikes are on-site, so feel free to grab one and cruise the Key.

After spending the day in the sun, you can take a break and relax on your own patio area in comfortable Adirondack chairs. This is the perfect place to just take advantage of the peace and tranquility of Manasota Key as you watch the sunset.

We also have COMPLIMENTARY kayaks and paddle boards available to use as you cruise through Lemon Bay or the Gulf Mexico hanging out with the dolphins and manatees or just enjoying the sights and sounds of the osprey and pelicans at our sister property just around the corner.

The beautiful Stump Pass Beach State Park is less than a 12 minute walk or 3 minute bike ride from Sunset Hideaway. Here you can fish, hike the nature paths, launch a boat, kayak, paddle board, or just relax on the secluded beach.

If your looking for some food and good live music, grab a short golf cart ride via Stumpy's Free Ride Courtesy Shuttle to local family friendly restaurants located on Manasota Key. Free beach yoga classes are available daily on Englewood Beach by Loving Light Yoga, The Key has several gifts shop for you to browse through, as well as a 24 hour local convenience store. Water sports rentals are close by. What's your pleasure? Parasailing, jet skis, boats, sailing, sunset cruises, or fishing charters, Manasota Key has it all! You are also only an 8 minute drive (back over the Tom Adams Bridge) away from several grocery stores, shopping, and restaurants. To the south on 776, you will find Publix, Winn Dixie, Walmart, and Walgreens. To the North on 776 and then left on Dearborn St., you will find Englewood's shopping district with antique stores, boutiques, a coffee shop, and additional restaurant choices.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
