“When in the area this is the place to stay.”

Reviewed 7 Jul 2015

Excellent facilities and ideal parking for those bringing a pet. Garden is a pleasure to sit in with great service from the hotel. Grill room a lovely place for dinner in the evening, suggest guests study the chefs special board every night.

“Location and facilities of cottage are perfect”

Reviewed 6 Jul 2015

Embleton is in very good location to be able to access other areas in Northumberland. The village is well provided with places to eat, golf course and beach easily accessible. Stable cottage is well equipped, has a fabulous garden and is very peaceful. The hotel provides good food and staff made us very welcome. Would definitely stay here again!!

“Excellent accommodation, and dog friendly”

Reviewed 5 Jul 2015

We've now stayed in all three of these converted cottages. During the summer they're effectively hotel suites, just a short walk across the garden from the main hotel, and can be booked, like a hotel room, by the day. The cottages are well-fitted out, comfortable and clean. Dogs are allowed, which is great for us as we've got two. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order, and the portions are adequate. It's an ideal spot from which to explore the village and surrounding area.

“Idyllic”

Reviewed 11 Feb 2015

Right out of "House Beautiful" superb conversion of an old barn, warm, pleasant, private and very convenient to everything in the village. Could not have been better. I was there to "get away from it all" and it certainly worked, however, if you cannot live without your little gadgets you might have some difficulties, couldn't get internet, although I didn't try very hard, later found a very good signal at the nearby golf club, so don't fret too much.

“Perfect for a short break in Northumberland”

“Perfection!”

Reviewed 29 Dec 2014

Booked this very last minute after a couple of hours trawling reviews on Tripadvisor, of various places in the area. What a find! My Husband and I could not fault the cottage and the customer service received from George was first class. The village itself is lovely and the coastline spectacular but the cottage itself was the star of the show. You really just need to turn up, everything you could possibly need is supplied and if you do need anything the village shop is 2 minutes walk away. We cannot wait to return, loved every minute of staying here.
