Getting around

Your resort is located in the hills above Elviria, and your penthouse it perched at a vantage point within the resort, yet only 3 levels above the ground. In order to see as much of the beautiful Andalucian region as possible, car hire is strongly recommended. You can also arrange for taxis via the Clubhouse.

Interaction with guest

On your arrival our Property Manager will usually meet you at the bottom of the hill in Elviria, and guide you up to the resort, let you in to the penthouse, and show you around. On your first day please arrange to arrive at the apartment during daylight hours but before 8pm. After that he is also usually available to be contacted for any help or assistance if there are any issues within the property during your stay. The clubhouse is a very friendly setting, with a great bar and restaurant, and the friendly staff are at your disposal.

The holiday apartment was very much in line with our expectations. Description fits well with what we experienced: Good space in perfect condition and an amazingly beautiful view. We wanted a residence in quiet and relaxing surroundings with the possibility of driving to the beach and town within a reasonable time - all of this was undoubtedly fulfilled. It is certainly one of our best vacations for many years and we are looking forward to coming back.

“A jewel in the winter sun !”

We stayed in this apartment for a fortnight over Christmas, and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. The apartment was very clean, modern, extremely comfortable and tastefully furnished, and everything we needed was there, The views over the gardens and mountains, and out to the Mediterranean were stunning, especially in the very early mornings. As there were only four of us there was plenty of room. I have some mobility issues, so having the elevator take us from our front door straight to the car park, gardens and pools was a huge advantage. We hired a car, which is highly recommended as we were able to visit a number of beautiful local towns and villages.The drive from Malaga airport was about 30 minutes to Elviria, where we turned up the hill heading towards this resort of El Soto de Marbella. From Elviria it’s less than 15 minutes to the apartment although it did feel longer on the first trip, but the views up the hill were simply breathtaking, looking over the Med from Gibraltar across North Africa and to the Sierra Nevada mountains ! I could never tire of that. The resort had free access to a well equipped gymnasium, a sauna, steam room, hot tub, tennis and paddle tennis, a putting green and small golf course. They were also building a new Boules area. There were four lovely pools but as it was winter we didn’t use them. The clubhouse had free internet and served drinks and superb meals all at very reasonable prices. Steak or Fish and Chips nights were less than £7per meal ! Keith, the property manager was extremely helpful. I am really looking forward to my return trip.

“Stunning apartment near Marbella”

I don’t usually write reviews, however for this apartment in El Soto de Marbella, I am happy to make an exception. The apartment is very spacious, modern and clean. It is stylishly and comfortably furnished and everything we needed for our stay was available, including fast wireless broadband. Situated in a beautiful resort in the striking hills above Elviria, it is only a short drive from the coast, and the views from the balcony are absolutely outstanding. We had free and unlimited access to the gymnasium, sauna, and tennis courts, as well as a number of different swimming pools, all of which had plenty of space, no overcrowding, really nice and quiet. The clubhouse is reasonably priced and offers an extensive range of different food and some cracking cocktails. The staff here are very friendly. The location is ideal, we hired a car and drove from Málaga–Costa del Sol Airport and were at the apartment in no time. There is a free parking space under the apartment which came in really handy and the elevator takes you directly to your front door! The beautiful winding streets of Marbella’s Old Quarter are just around the corner, there are so many bars and restaurants here that you really are spoilt for choice. The beaches in Marbella aren’t bad either! Overall, our stay was very enjoyable, what a fantastic place. I hope to be back soon :) !!

“Amazing apartment, with beautiful views !”

We stayed in this apartment in august 2015. There was everything we wanted in the kitchen, it was obvious the owners kitted it out as a normal everyday house. The views are stunning, from both of the balconies. Also, there are so many pools to choose from ...... all unique and some with lovely views of the sea. The El Soto club house is perfect, with great views over the golf course, and very reasonably priced food, you cannot complain! Plus it is a 5 minute walk from the apartment, so no taxis needed! The lovely Nikki beach, is only about a 10 minute drive away, and there are many nice restaurants to eat at at the bottom of the hill. I would recommend this accomodation to anyone looking in this area, as it is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of marbella, but close enough to enjoy it when you want to.
