The large double aspect living and dining area sets this apartment apart from the rest - it features 2 large comfortable sofas and a 50'' flatscreen, wall mounted TV (with the 4 main UK channels) and a DVD player - it opens onto 2 terraces, the larger being ideal for relaxing and outdoor dining.

Located on the 1st floor, the apartment overlooks the main pool area that's surrounded by beautifully manicured and maintained gardens. There's also a second pool and paddling pool for children that's open during the peak season with a lifeguard present.

The prestigious Santa Maria Golf & Country Club, with it's award winning 18 hole golf course, tennis courts, restaurant and bar (free WiFi for customers) is a stone's throw away.

The apartment is 40 mins drive from Malaga Airport and 10 mins from Marbella. However for those without a car, there's still plenty to do in the local area. Elviria Centre is an easy 5-10 mins walk,; here there's restaurants, bars, supermarkets, shops and banks. There's also a regular bus service to Fuengirola and Marbella. For the young at heart, the new Amazonia zip-line park with 20 zip-lines is only 5 mins walk away, and the soft sandy beaches for which Elviria is renowned, are a 20 minute walk away along tree lined avenues. You can also drive to the beach in 5 minutes with free car parking and restaurants nearby.

The apartment is fully managed by a local agency who will meet you at the apartment with the keys and help if you need any advice about the area, or require assistance during your stay.

The Costa del Sol region

Within a day trip, you can visit Gibraltar, Ronda and the white villages such as Mijas. There are numerous lovely walks as you go inland towards the mountains, with a fantastic view of the coastal areas. If you're an early riser, you can ski in the Sierra Nevada mountains near Granada in the morning and return later that evening - the skiing season is from November to April and the scenery is beautiful. We have used the apartment as a base to visit other cities in Andalucía, such as Seville, Cordoba, Jerez, Ubeda and Granada - some of these may involve an overnight stay, but are well worth the visit, especially during the Fiestas

Elviria

Elviria is a highly desirable area of Marbella. Protected by a backdrop of mountains covered in UNESCO protected cork forest, Elviria enjoys a sub-tropical Mediterranean climate with hot summers and warm winters. Temperatures average 32ºc during the summer and there are on average 320 days of sunshine per year. We have recently visited in November and March and enjoyed lovely warm days, although the evenings can get a little more chilly and you'll need a light coat.There's lots to do in Elviria, either with or without the use of a car to get around, there's something for everyone. Whether you enjoy playing golf, tennis, relaxing by the pool, or on a soft sandy beach. The shopping centres such as La Canada and Miramar are nearby, as well as local markets and restaurants, bars and cafes.
