The Highlands are home to a quarter of a million people living in communities spread throughout the area and this is the reason why it is such a wonderful holiday destination. It has a vibrant city as well as a good mixture of remote crofting communities and sparsely populated islands. The Moray coast has a number of small fishing villages such as Burghead, Hopeman and Findhorn dotted along it. The beautiful countryside makes this an ideal place to live and visit.

“Comfortable, warm, very well equipped and peaceful”

Reviewed 8 Nov 2012

We really enjoyed our stay at Springfield cottage, it was very warm, comfortable and well equipped. We loved the wood burner, very cosy in the evenings When we got there we were delighted to find the basics like salt, sugar, tea, coffee and dishwasher tablets. Luckily we had brought milk and other perishables on the way. It is a very peaceful place - just what we needed for our getaway. Christine was very friendly and welcoming, we didn't need her help for anything because it was so well equipped to start with.

“Well equipped, spacious accomodation in beautiful setting.”

Springfield Croft is perfect for a family holiday. It is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Our kids loved the huge garden and the adults enjoyed sitting by the log fire at night. The owner is friendly, helpful and very welcoming. I would definitely recommend Spiringfield Croft and would book again when we holiday in Moray.
