Description

This first floor apartment is situated on El Peñoncillo beach, Torrox Costa.

The apartment offers free unlimited internet access complete with a TV box for watching English channels. A big charm is the outside 2 sided balcony which is West facing with a Sea view. It is perfect for the early morning shade and a great bonus for enjoying the afternoon/late evening sun.

The apartment has 2 en-suite bedrooms (double and twin) and is large enough to sleep up to 5 people with the use of an extra bed (hire charge applicable)

The apartment boasts a fully fitted kitchen with utility room and a large lounge with access to the outside balcony through 2 separate patio doors.

The dining table has comfortable seating for 6 people and the 2 large leather sofas can happily seat 6 in the living area. The balcony also has a dining table with seating for up to 6 people.

All rooms are fitted with remote control ceiling fans for those warm summer evenings and heaters

The property also offers the use of the rooftop terrace which spans the width of the building creating wonderful panoramic views of the coast, beach and mountains. The large sunbathing area also has a rooftop communal swimming pool with toilets and shower.

The property has good access for wheelchair users and has lift access to all floors.

There is also a small supermarket on the ground floor of the building beside and there are a few wonderful beach restaurants along the El Peñoncillo beach, great for enjoying fresh fish caught that day.

Torrox Costa promonade is just a 5 minute walk away.

The Costa del Sol region

40 minutes drive east of Malaga lies the coastal town of Torrox Costa. Torrox has also been voted for having the 'Best Climate in Europe' due to it's geographical location.

The coastal area of Torrox is a 10 minute walk from the apartment and stretches for 3 kms with the heart of the resort being the Paseo Maritimo, a flat pedestrianized promenade. Starting at El Faro or the lighthouse, the promenade runs west along the entire length of the main beach Playa Ferrara and is known for its many shops, bars and restaurants which can be found either along the Paseo Maritimo or in amongst the apartment buildings that stretch back to the main coast road.

The local Spanish towns of Torrox Pueblo and Nerja are all within a 5 minute drive from the apartment. Torrox Pueblo is the sister town of Torrox Costa and is a must to see if you want to experience Spanish life and those beautiful mountain views.
Nerja is a delightful old town comprising of charming pedestrianized streets and wonderful restaurants allowing you to enjoy the Spanish cuisine. The historic "Balcón de Europa" is also situated in Nerja giving you the experience of the amazing panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and overlooking the "Caletilla" Beach.

El Penoncillo Beach

There are water sports available including jet ski hire, banana boat rides and scuba tuition and for something a little more relaxing, there are 33 golf courses on the Costa del Sol, and the nearest is only a 10 minute drive away.
If you are more of a historian you can visit the roman ruins which are located in the area of the lighthouse in Torrox Costa or a trip to Andalucía region would not be complete without a visit to the magnificent Nerja Caves, one of Spain's most popular and spectacular historical sites. The Nerja Caves – Cuevas de Nerja – are a series of huge caverns stretching for almost five kilometres and home to the world's largest stalagmite, a 32 metre high column measuring 13 metres by 7 metres at its base.
