Location description from owner

The England region

Garden cottage is situated between the two Kent villages of Egerton and Pluckley at the very end of a peaceful country lane which lingers onto open countryside. Walkers can step straight out onto the many footpaths. Egerton village is a fifteen minute walk or a quick drive away. Egerton is renowned for its beauty and boasts a thriving Friday afternoon farmers market for you to enjoy during your stay. A traditional Kent pub and village shop/post office are nestled around the ancient Church. Pluckley, approximately 1 mile in the other direction, also has many attractions for you to enjoy whilst you stay in Kent. It was the film location for the famous 'Darling Buds of May' series and is also known as the most haunted village in England!

Egerton

Kent has many wonderful attractions and things to do. Close by there are wonderful gardens including Sissinghurst and Great Dixter to visit during your stay and the fabulous Leeds Castle is only 20 minutes away. This is one of the most beautiful Castles in England. Canterbury with its beautiful cathedral is also only a short drive away as is the seaside village of Whitstable.

Was fortunate enough to get a last minute booking of this cottage. The pictures don't do it justice. Beautiful inside and out, great location both close to town and sprawling countryside walks, dog friendly and very accommodating owners. Will definitely be back!

Many Thanks and it was a pleasure to host you and welcome again anytime.
