From the owner

Welcome to Friars Lodge. We are located in the heart of Sherwood Forest in the historic village of Edwinstowe. Formerly known as a Bed and Breakfast, we have recently undergone renovations completed in early 2016 of our annex. The annex is situated on the ground floor and is completely private with its own entrance, it is located at the rear of the main house which makes an ideal location for some peace and quiet.

Discount given for guests staying for a week or more.

We are pleased to offer two newly decorated bedrooms (one double bedroom and a twin bedroom which can also be used as a double if necessary), two recently fitted bathrooms and a brand new fully functional kitchen with a comfortable lounge and dining area. We also have a private garden area for our guests to enjoy, which is complete with outside lighting and a seating area.

We have bike lock up and washing down area available along with ample off road parking suitable for a motor home or horse box.

There is a washing machine and tumble dryer available for use in the out building, also washing line for when the weather is nice.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout your stay along with Netflix.

No pets allowed.

We are in a fantastic location in the village of Edwinstowe, which is home to Sherwood Forest and Robin Hood’s Major Oak tree.

How do damage deposits work?

If Sarah (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
