“Beautiful spacious apartment in a great location”

Reviewed 9 Nov 2016

We were 4 couples and a single adult visiting Edinburgh for a long weekend and hadn't had the chance to get together for some time. We therefore all wanted to stay together and make the most of communal time catching up when not out and about site seeing. This apartment was perfect for us, it is really spacious, we all had proper comfortable beds so no one had to sleep on a bed settee. The kitchen and lounge were large enough for us all to be in at the same time whether eating breakfast together or sitting and chatting with a tipple or two. It has all the amenities you could need and was spottlessly clean. We loved the fact the apartment is a period property and as such has wonderful high ceilings and large hallways and is beautifully decorated and maintained. It is also very centrally located and is close to Princess Street. The service I received when booking the apartment was perfect too. Highly recommended.

“Fantastic weekend”

Reviewed 10 Oct 2016

It's not often you book a holiday apartment that is even better than you're expecting, but Edinburgh Pied à Terre lived up to all its promises. The bedrooms were bigger than they looked on the photographs, beautifully decorated and the comfortable beds were all king size with excellent mattresses and good quality bedding. The kitchen was new, clean and well equipped. Jane communicated well before our arrival and had everything organised so well for us when we arrived. The location was perfect. A wonderful few days. Thank you so much!!!

“The perfect weekend”

Reviewed 15 Jul 2013

My friends and I went to Edinburgh for a friends wedding and we could not have picked a more perfect place to stay. From the moment I emailed the owner, I knew Pied a Terre was the right choice for my friends and I - Jane was warm, kind and exceptionally helpful, she replied to my emails very quickly and provided a wealth of information about the local area and what to do during our stay in Edinburgh once we had booked. When I arrived, I was greeting by the very friendly and equally helpful Property Manager, Lucie. My chin dropped to the floor when Lucie gave me the tour - the pictures just do not do Pied a Terre justice. The place was immaculate, luxurious and beyond my expectations. Everything had been thought of, from hairdryers in every room to tea and coffee for the Sunday hangover. The location was also perfect. We were also celebrating a birthday and found ourselves crowded around the kitchen table sharing cake and retiring to the huge and comfortable front room for a natter and a few glasses of bubbles - a perfect end to a perfect day. I could not recommend Pied a Terre highly enough!

“Beautiful apartment in central location!”

Reviewed 27 May 2013

The minute we walked into Pied a Terre, we fell in love with the apartment. It is so beautifully decorated and all the bedrooms are fabulous. The living room is far more beautiful- and cosy- than the pictures make out. We were travelling in a party of 8 and there was more than one discussion as to whether we could all chip in and make an offer to buy the apartment! Its very centrally located on George St, with plenty of lovely shops and bars and restaurants, and only moments from Princes St. My only word of warning would be that light sleepers might struggle with some late night noise from revellers as they leave the clubs and bars. I personally didn't have a problem with it at all but someone else in the party commented on it. Personally, it wouldn't put me off at all and, if I could afford to, I would rent this place every time I return with just my partner. Jane was also very helpful when we had a small issue with the wifi (one of our party ha unplugged it) and also helpful with leaving our bags within the building (although not the flat itself- but we had no concerns). We'll be back!

“This accommodation was totally outstanding - everything was top class!!”

Reviewed 15 May 2013

I would reccommend this accommodation to groups of up to eight people, for the sheer luxury of the apartment, as well as the proximity of all the shops and restaurants within walking distance.

“Perfect apartment in amazing location”

Reviewed 13 May 2013

Saw this online and booked through their own website. There were a group of us for a 40th birthday weekend and being slightly more mature and therefore fussy we wanted somewhere really comfortable that didn't remind us of our student digs. This flat is located on George st which for us was perfect as we could walk out and not worry about cars or taxis. Everything was on our doorstep and we particularly loved the bars and restaurants just minutes away. The flat itself is better than the pictures give it credit. It was really fab and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was done to a high standard and I will definitely return here for our next stay. Jane was also helpful with info and ideas etc.
