“Beautiful Apartment - Great Location”

Reviewed 11 Apr 2016

Enjoyed a 2 night stay in this beautiful apartment. A bright and modern décor throughout. Well equipped, with everything you would require for a break away. Great location and enjoyed being able to walk everywhere. Easy and efficient correspondence with owner prior to stay regarding location, keys and any questions.

“Beautiful apartment in a great location”

Reviewed 4 Nov 2015

We visit Edinburgh a couple of times a year to visit my son who is currently studying at HW university. We have rented a number of apartments in the City centre and can confirm this is one of the best we have stayed in. The apartment is spacious and is very well equipped. There is a large hallway which has the bathroom at the end and to the left the main bedroom, and to the right, the kitchen/lounge. My son of 13 years slept on the sofa bed in the louge and was very comfortable. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable and beautiful bed linen. The apartment was very clean and very warm. A 10 minute stroll up the hill gets you to Princes Street so you are central. We actually walked from the train station downhill to the train station but got a taxi back up the hill to go home (£6)! We ate at the restaurants round the corner which were all great and good value for money and there is a bakery and small supermarket round the corner. Enjoyed our stay so much we have booked again for February.

“Home away from home.”

Reviewed 29 Jul 2015

Just arrived back home after my girlfriend and I enjoyed a lovely 3 night stay at Jackie's apartment in Cumberland street. The flat lived up to the previous reviews, modern interior, homely feel and immaculate! The location was great, a heartbeat from George Street and not much further from Princess Street. I would consider leaving the car back home next time round for two reasons it being walking distance from the city centre and the cost of the on street parking (£2.20 p/h).

“Perfect!”

Reviewed 1 Jun 2015

My 13yr old son and I stayed at Jackie's apartment for two nights. It is a very modern, clean, well contained apartment and had everything we needed. The bed and sofa bed were very comfortable, the shower was great and it was the perfect place to unwind after walking round Edinburgh all day. We were lucky enough to meet Jackie when we arrived and she is a lovely lady. Would highly recommend and will definitely book again.

“Awesome apartment with great location and well managed”

Reviewed 26 May 2015

We had a great time staying in this apartment. This is one of the vital part of our tour to Scotland which made our trip memorable. I am really thankful to Jakie for her kindness by giving us a relaxation with early checking and late checkout. She is an awesome person and managed the house really well. The house has all the basic facilities, clean towels, comfortable bed. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recomend our friends and relatives.

“Amazing apartment, great location and very well managed”

Great apartment within easy walking distance to the centre of town and the lovely Stockbridge area. Jackie was very helpful, friendly and easy to deal with - we will be coming back! Thanks! (we've already recommended it to others!)

“Fab apartment with great location”

Reviewed 16 Mar 2015

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a birthday weekend. The apartment is about 15 min walk from the station and princes street. It's in a quiet location but in easy reach of all the main areas. A taxi is about £6 from George Street or grass market The apartment itself is clean with everything you need with a comfy bed and lovely bathroom. If you book in advanced you can get this apartment at a great price. The owner is also very good at replying to emails and txt. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again.

“Fabulous City pad for Hogmanay stay”

Reviewed 10 Feb 2015

The apartment is beautifully presented, clean and looks better than the photos. Set in a charming location with your own entrance. Local amenities a few minutes walk away and all attractions within 18 mins walking distance. The handover of keys were simple and straightforward with v.clear instructions. We felt so at home that we didn't want to leave. We had left some clothes behind and the owner was very kind to post them on.

“Lovely. Clean and cosy”

Reviewed 30 Nov 2014

Lovely apartment..was very clean and tidy. Had a bit of bother getting the key out key safe but phoned Jackie and when she explained we got it straight away. Ten minute walk to princess street. Fairly easy to find from train station. Lovely street and building. Only negatives were the toilet flush was a nightmare and no reception so if making a call or sending a text you need to walk outside. Internet in apartment also. Overall if going to Edinburgh will book this again.

“Great Place to stay”

Reviewed 29 Oct 2014

This was a great apartment, well equipped and in easy walking distance of all amenities and attractions. Easy 10 minute walk to Princes St and a bus just around the corner. Great pubs and places to eat close by.
