“Warm welcome, great location, clean and well equipped cottage.”

Reviewed 5 Sep 2011

Lovely welcome from both Steve and Fiona, including valet parking right up to the front door of this lovely cottage. Very clean and tidy accommodation, with a well equipped kitchen and lovely secluded garden. Conveniently located to amenities, including local stores and takeaways. Public transport routes on the doorstep with regular buses into Edinburgh city centre, plenty to see and do. We visited the Royal Yacht Britannia at Leith which was just a 10 min drive away. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Turkish baths experience in Portobello, just a 10 min walk. Overall we all enjoyed our stay and would recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting to visit Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.

“Terrific accomodation and great location”

We stayed here with our two children aged 11 and 13 for six nights. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We got a very warm welcome. Lovely walled garden. Near enough to local shops. Easy parking The cottage was very well presented and equipt with all we needed. We got the local bus into the city every day whch was very easy and quick. Portobello beach was nearby and a short drive east brought access to some lovely coastal areas. Would highly recommend.
