Situated in Stockbridge, a fashionable 'village' in central Edinburgh, this two bedroom apartment is ideal for a couple though it has a small single bedroom and sofa bed in the living room so could accommodate a family of 5.There is free WiFi and Netflix available.

Stockbridge has the best cheese shop in Edinburgh' Mellis, an organic food store, Waitrose, a delicatessen ,restaurants, bars and the Royal Botanic Gardens- the best place for lunch al fresco, 5 mins walk away. There is a newly renovated Victorian swimming pool just around the corner.

Nice apartment but unforunately there was a problem with the boiler and we had no heating or hot water during our stay.

Owner's reply:
Unfortunately Brian , despite warnings posted on the gas boiler that it should not be touched as the central heating is on at all times , decided to tamper with the gas boiler and it needed to be repaired when it stopped working on the Saturday morning. The apartment has a separate fully serviced gas fire in the sitting room , electric blankets on the beds and a hot water emersion heater if the boiler fails. Brian was offered the option of moving to a 4 star hotel paid for by myself for the night until the boiler was fixed but he didn’t want this so instead took up my offer of a free weekend in the future to compensate for the inconvenience . I think Brian should have given more of the actual facts ,as stated above, in his review as it sounds as if there was no heating or options available to him which was simply not true as our guests comfort is always our priority .

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Raewyn (the owner) a message.

If Raewyn (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
