Two kayaks for use by guests and free unlimited wifi in the apartment. Close to the clubhouse with rim-flow pool, children's pool and play area, and well equipped gym and tennis court.
Four private beaches within a short walk or golf-cart ride away with excellent snorkeling off the little beaches. Restaurants and supermarket, as well as boutique shops in the New Eden Mall, close by. Beautiful walks in the forests and hikes to deserted beaches. Fishing charters can be arranged from the marina, and Angelfish Diving center for scuba diving.
A five minute drive to Victoria where one can catch a ferry to Praslin and La Digue.

The Eden Island region

Eden Island is situated a ten minute drive to Victoria, the small capital of Mahe. The market is worth a visit, and there are a number of curio shops and "beach clothing" stores. Lovely historic homes which have been renovated to show an elegant by-gone era. One such home in Francis Rachelle street houses a gallery showcasing some of the Seychelles best art. The Marie Antoinette restaurant is also based in a beautiful French Colonial home.
There are fabulous walks in the forests. The get permits, visit the Botanical gardens which are also well worth a visit. One can see enormous giant tortoises, found only in the Seychelles and the Galapagos islands!
The beaches (70) on Mahe alone, are safe swimming areas (except in the South, where strong currents can occur).
One can reach most areas by bus if one chooses not to hire a car. Buses are regular and there is a bus stop across the road from Eden Island which would take you to the terminus in Victoria and from there you choose your destination.
A hire-car is definitely recommended though, to take in all the sites of this magnificent Island.

“Beautiful new 1BDR apartment in a convenient location”

My husband and I stayed at this apartment for 5 days and absolutely loved it! A new supermarket had just opened on Eden Island the day before we arrived so we were able to buy food, drinks, and daily essentials right after check-in. The room looked new & clean, and Marylin's lovely decorations provided a relaxing "resort " feeling. It was great that we were able to take advantage of the Miele appliances for cooking as well as doing the laundry, since the restaurants on the island were quite pricey, and we had many towels and beach clothes that needed washing. Marylin sent us an awesome itinerary that helped us explore the Mahe island. We rented a car and drove all over, also visiting the 5 star luxury resorts for breakfast and dinner. We found the location very convenient as it was just ten minutes to the airport and five minutes to Victoria. We truly enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this apartment to anyone!
