Description

Dragonfly is located on the Hayling Island Holiday Park, at South Hayling, which has been awarded 4 Stars by the Tourist Board, and is situated just 5 minutes (1k) away from the seafront, beach and Beachlands Funfair and Amusement Park. The parks many facilities are listed below.

The local shops at West Town are approximately 0.8 miles from the park whilst Mengham is approximately.1.2 miles away. There are 3 nature reserves on the island, the nearest one being approximately 2.2 miles from the park

“Hayling holiday park”

We had a fabulous break from 29th April till 5th may 2019. Caravan was very clean and had every thing we needed. Including a lovely blanket supplied as nights turned very cold On arrival we were met at the caravan and shown around. The table was set beautifully for two with a complimentary bottle of fizz. There were also essential items like milk, tea, coffee and biscuits waiting. The site was very quiet where we were situated wirh ample parking. We Did not use the entertainment or bar part of the site but we're given a form to complete if we did require passes. The bus sop was situated directly outside site and a new large Lidl store was located just 1/2 mile up the rd. We left on the Sunday a little earlier than the 10am cut off but the accommodated this by coming early no problem. Ideally situated for visiting all of hampshire and west Sussex. We visited Portsmouth, havent chichester, Both of regis and the isle of Wight. All in all an excellent holiday was had :)

We had a lovely stay in the Dragon fly caravan on Hayling Island Holiday park. Caravan was cosy but had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you to Sue for the lovely little touches on arrival, bottle of wine was a lovely touch.

I booked a little trip away to hayling island with my granddaughter and I would highly recommend this resort. We were Only there for 2 nights but had an amazing time the carvan was lovely and clean the entertainment was excellent,the holiday park and staff were very helpful . We had the best time ,I will defiantly be booking a longer trip for next year and can even take my dogs which is even better. The week before I went to butlins skegness and had a lovely time with my mum and sisters but would never recommend it too anyone everything was not as it should of been, then to go hayling island holiday park and had such amazing time and was only an 45min drive too couldn't say anything bad about it

“A lovely break”

We arrived at the Hayling Island site mid afternoon and were able to access Dragonfly with ease. We were greeted with a spotlessly clean van. Dragonfly was a good size for my family (2 adults & 1 child). We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and even a drink for my little boy (these were lovely touches and attention to detail). Dragonfly is a home from home, we had all the mods and cons and facilities we needed while we stayed. Dragonfly was situated in a lovely quiet part of the site and I would recommed staying here to anyone who has a family and wants somewhere peaceful to stay but yet close to all site facilities. Sue, Jean, Freda and John I all had the pleasure of meeting and they were all friendly and very helpful when we needed some assistance. I will no doubt be in touch with them regarding staying with them in the future. As for Hayling Island the weather was fantatic during our time there, we visitied the sites pool and plays area's with our little boy who enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools. We visited Portsmouth, Chichester, Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, Havant, Solent Port to name a few places and everywhere we visited had lovely beaches, cafe's, shops and resturants. I would recommend a trip to Hayling Island to anyone looking for holiday/break on the South Coast.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
