Description

The Boat House Retreat is situated in the owner's grounds in a beautiful picturesque garden, overlooking a large natural pond and waterfall, surrounded by trees, flowers, plants and many other water features. The tranquility, seclusion and peace and quiet of the environment makes it the ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. It is the ideal location for a romantic break away with your loved ones, is well situated for those who want to visit beaches, walk on the South Downs, enjoy the history of Sussex (Chichester and Arundel especially) or the nightlife of Brighton, Portsmouth or Southampton.You can also enjoy the horse racing at Fontwell (visible from the deck), Goodwood within 10 minutes, which also offers quality golf and motor racing too. The accommodation that the Boat House Retreat offers is both high quality, comfortable and everything you would need for a short or even longer term break if you are visiting from overseas and would prefer to be self catering instead of being in the more controlled environment of a hotel or B&B. Due to the many water features within the grounds and the large pond, we do advise our guests that the location is not really a child friendly environment and although dog lovers ourselves, we are unable to accommodate your "best friends".There is off-road parking in the well lit secure driveway. Check in is 3:00pm on the day of arrival and check out is at 10:30am upon departure.

“Perfect Location”

My husband and I loved our stay at 'The Boathouse Retreat(,wish we could have stayed longer.)It's the perfect place to unwind,quiet but only a few miles to some great place's to visit,Arundel Castle,Chichester, and Fontwell Racecourse is right on the door step.We would highly recommend this little gem.The owners James and Karen are close by if you need anything,but were never intrusive.It was well appointed,a really comfy bed,lovely shower room. A great place to stay!!

The boat house was a beautiful little get away for me & my husband, just a short drive away from Arundel & just round the corner from a nice little pub, would love to return in the summer months.

We loved this retreat. Stayed for three nights and felt completely at home. The owners are a lovely couple and are on sight if there's any questions. Everything easy to work. Perfect quiet location and quick access to Chichester and Arundal, Brighton half an hour away. Also easy to find. Would definitely return. Thank you Karen and James.

How do damage deposits work?
