From the manager

This detached seafront house has glorious sea views and direct beach access. Saltwater has a super first floor deck area with weather-aged loungers for relaxing and appreciating the uninterrupted panoramic views across the Solent.

Downstairs the comfortable and bright living rooms have full length glass sliding doors which give onto the fully enclosed south facing garden, and the cosy kitchen has a gas-fired Aga.

The grassy garden has an outdoor shower area and table, chairs and parasol for al fresco entertaining. Beyond the garden gate is the foreshore with lovely coastal walks and far-stretching beach.

The four bedrooms are split between up and downstairs, with a family bathroom on each floor too.

Saltwater is on a quiet, private road and within a few minutes walk of East Wittering village centre, either along the seafront or through the village roads.

Parking for three cars on the driveway.

The gardens are enclosed and laid to lawn with a gate leading onto the foreshore. The front garden is gated and has a large grass area together with a parking area for several vehicles.

Garden furniture includes an outside Dining Table with 6 x chairs, 1 x double chair and 2 x fold up chairs. Sun shade with base.

Local shops in East Wittering are within 0.5 mile which offer an excellent variety of shops and facilities which include a health centre, chemists, banks etc. The Cathedral City of Chichester is 6 miles to the north and offers a wealth of cultural and entertainment activities such as the Festival Theatre, Pallant House art gallery, Cathedral, multiplex cinema and leisure centre. Within two miles of Chichester is Goodwood House the location for the world famous Festival of Speed, Goodwood motor racing circuit and 'Glorious Goodwood' horse racing. Chichester Harbour is designated an area of outstanding beauty.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, Saltwater is not as modern as some of the other holiday homes in the area but it has charm and character whilst being perfect for families. The Aga does have instructions for use in the kitchen and provides a unique cooking method for many guests who have not experienced Aga cooking. There are of course plenty of restaurants and cafes in the local village to explore. We do hope you will come back and visit us again

Following your comments we have now had several rooms redecorated and the floors upgraded. The cleaning issues have been mentioned to the cleaning firm and as Agents we are keeping a check. We do advise tenants that there is an AGA at the property and many of our guests really enjoy cooking in this way. Additional furniture will be available in 2018.

Thank you for taking the time to review 'Saltwater' and we are so pleased that you had a great holiday. After you mentioned about putting bath mats into the washing machine before leaving we investigated and found an old note that should not have been in the house, it should have been destroyed many seasons ago as we would not expect you to have to do that so please accept our apologies. We will mention the height of the hedge to the owners but often there is a trade off with protecting properties from harsh weather and strong winds and maximising the view of the sea. I hope that we may see you again if you visit our beautiful area again in the future.

How do damage deposits work?
