The sumptuous lounge has spectacular leather sofas, oak furniture and feature fireplace. There is unlimited Wifi available throughout the cottage and garden. A Grundig surround sound stereo system, Blueray DVD and 42 inch Plasma TV with Sky+HD package, plus a HD DVD player and a large selection of DVD's to enjoy watching.

The 'tack room' offers a hideaway for teenagers and is equipped with a sofa, Sony PS2 Playstation, TV and various games.

OUTSIDE

The patio doors offer access to the landscaped gardens, with luxury patio furniture, hot tub and the BBQ for the budding chefs! The luxury hot tub, which is set within a covered canopy is automatically heated to a perfect 38 degrees available 7 days a week from 8.00am to 10.00pm, allowing you to enjoy at any time an indulgent bubbly massage and let your stresses just fade away.

The mature garden has a Mediterranean flavour and has been carefully designed to extend the indulgent experience, which includes the gas BBQ and automatic designer lighting for evening 'al fresco' dining and entertaining.

FREE WELCOME PACK

We provide you with a gourmet 'welcome pack' on your arrival, which includes complimentary wine, our famous local sausage and dry cured bacon, free range eggs plus scrummy home made bread and cakes. All you need to cook your first breakfast.

We have a non-smoking policy throughout and we welcome young children and a well behaved pet (only 1) is allowed in the property, subject to a security deposit.please ask

STABLE COTTAGE FACILITIES-FREE Superfast WiFi

Stable Cottage is very near the coast in East Runton 200 metres. It has recently been tastefully updated into a high quality luxury retreat for 6 people + babe in arms, ideal for a Sheringham or Cromer luxury break. There is gorgeous landscaped 'flint walled garden, which encloses the luxurious hot tub, BBQ and table tennis table.

On arrival there is a private gravel driveway catering for up to three cars. The oak floored entrance hall leads to the luxury equipped kitchen diner, utility room and a sumptuous lounge to die for. The oak stairs lead to the 2 luxury upstairs bedrooms, the Master discretely downstairs, having a 6-foot bed with a luxury pocket sprung mattress, a luxury shower room en-suite and High Definition Digital TV with DVD player. All the bedrooms are filled with bespoke oak furniture, linen and curtains. All four luxurious bedrooms have hair dryers and stereos which are iPod enabled.

All the luxury bathrooms are filled with Gilchrist & Soames toiletries, very snuggly bathrobes and towels, complimentary slippers and boast under floor warming, Villeroy and Bock sanitary ware and power showers, the family bathroom have Tilevision TV's embedded in the wall above the bath.

The East Anglia region

The Norfolk Coast was designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1968, under the 1949 National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act. It has a total area of just over 450 km2, which is mainly undeveloped coast and hinterland (up to 6km inland in places) and includes intertidal areas as well as many small towns and villages. A summary of the story behind its designation can be found in supporting information to the Management Plan.

Stretching from the silt expanses of the Wash in the west through the coastal marshes, soft cliffs and hinterland of north Norfolk, to the dune system at Winterton in the east, it is an area of remarkable beauty, diversity and scientific importance.

The designated area comprises three separate areas of coast and hinterland.
The main section is a long coastal strip from Old Hunstanton in the west to Bacton in the east. The designated area excludes the settlements of Sheringham and Cromer and the coastline between them, and the settlements of Mundesley and Bacton, because of existing development at the time of designation. This main part of the AONB includes the remote coastal marshes of the North Norfolk Heritage Coast from Old Hunstanton to Weybourne a dynamic landscape of sand and mud flats, dunes, shingle, saltmarsh, reedbeds and grazing marsh which has a strong wilderness atmosphere, with its internationally important and renowned bird life. It also includes the soft, eroding cliffs of glacial sands and gravels east of Weybourne, which are important geologically as well as scenically, and the rolling farmland, estates and woodland of the coastal hinterland, with important areas of heathland.

In addition, there are two small outlying designated areas. The western outlier, north of Kings Lynn, includes part of Sandringham Estate and comprises part of the Wash mudflats as well as coastal marshes and lowland heath and bog, along with farmland.

The eastern outlier, between Sea Palling and Winterton, comprises sand dunes and the low-lying marsh and arable farmland behind them. There is a small area of overlap with land designated as the Norfolk and Suffolk Broads.

The concept of natural beauty includes the areas distinctive wildlife and cultural heritage (buildings, settlements and archaeology as well as traditions) as well as the scenic beauty of its landscape, and all of these are closely linked.

Felbrigg Hall, 2 miles SW off B1436, signposted from A148 and A140. Finest 17th century house, National Trust, with 18th Century furniture , paintings, library, walled gardens, orangery, lake and woodland walks, also wooded grounds, which are free. Restaurant, shop etc, Tel: 01263 837444
Open: Easter to late Oct.

Try a walk out of the town to Beacon Hill, highest point on this coast, 300 feet (!).
