Most famously Oxford is home to the world renowned University of Oxford, comprising of over 40 colleges spread throughout the city and county, some dating back as far as 1096. Oxford has also gained a cult following for fans of the Inspector Morse and Lewis television series with travellers coming from all over the world to walk the same streets as the famous detectives.
Visitors have a wealth of experiences to choose from whether it be punting in one of the many canals, visiting the Botanic Gardens, Pitt Rivers and Ashmolean Museums, strolling round Christchurch meadows or taking advantage of the great shops along Cornmarket. The Oxfordshire region
The apartment is located on the main St Clement's street just to the east of Oxford, with frequent buses to the city centre and to London passing just outside. The route to the city centre – only a 20-minute walk - could hardly be more beautiful, taking visitors across stunning Magdalen Bridge straight up the historic High Street, with colleges on either side, to the city epicentre at the top of the High Street. It would be hard to find better placed holiday accommodation in Oxford or a more convenient choice for executive accommodation in Oxford.
There are excellent local amenities for a self-catering stay in Oxford, with many nearby small shops (including newsagent, chemist and small supermarket) and restaurants. The full facilities of the city centre are only 1.5 kms away. The beautiful green areas of South Park, Christ Church Meadows and Headington Park are nearby, and boat hire, including punt hire, is available at Magdalen Bridge 5 minutes' away, all features which make this an ideal choice for a short stay apartment in Oxford, whether an Oxford holiday letting or corporate booking.

The location of this studio is great. Really easy to walk into Oxford or if you're feeling lazy jump on a bus. Close to a small supermarket (Sainsbury's) some pubs and a yummy Chinese (Pink Giraffe). Short walk to Cowley Road for even more food choices and shops. Studio itself is clean and compact. Very good design and wifi has been excellent. Only draw backs are phone signal only possible sporadically in the bathroom and glass doors let it loads of light but can be a little cold and need to close curtains while out for safety. LOVE the shower though! I would stay again for a holiday rental btu since I was here for work, not having phone signal was a problem.
