Description

EXCLUSIVE USE, and available all year, this perfectly appointed self-catering 6-berth floating home near Hampton Court Palace located on the non-tidal River Thames.

This is a very popular floating home found on American lakes but a very unique find in UK. She has 2 cabins, the master opens onto a small sun terrace, the middle cabin has bunk beds with a skylight and the living area has a double sofa bed to sleep a further 2 guests. The living area is open-plan and incorporates a kitchen, dining area and living room which then opens out onto a sun terrace with hot tub and drinks fridge. There is a massive roof garden with a further outside dining and rattan seating area plus gas BBQ - perfect for al fresco dining with superb river views.

Facilities include heating throughout, a fully equipped kitchen (4-plate hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine all powered by either shore power or generator dependent on mooring preferences) plus a full-size shower room with hot water and toilet facilities. WiFi, HiFi, Smart TV, Netflix, PS3, Spotify, Readly, books, board games, tea/coffee, towels and bed linen are also provided.

No matter where the boat is moored, there are many attractions to visit nearby including those in Central London - a 35/45 minute direct train journey away. A wide variety of restaurants/pubs will always be nearby including popular chain restaurants such as Pizza Express and Zizzi in most the main towns. Parking can be arranged from £5 per day. Heathrow is approximately 6/10 miles away.

Skippered boating holidays with a choice of itineraries can also be arranged between Hampton Court Palace and Windsor Castle for a further £100/hour (minimum 2 hours per day) with an experienced Captain, enabling guests (whether a couple, family or small group of friends) to relax and enjoy the stunning river views from the luxury of a private boat without the stress of driving it themselves. Enjoy the plenty of places of interest to visit along the way including historic monuments, market towns, museums, racecourses and theme parks - and if cooking is not on the agenda, why not moor up right outside one of many delightful riverside restaurants or gastro pubs for a meal or two! Skippered boating holidays are dependent on river conditions (especially in low season) with a minimum of a 2 night stay.

Furthermore, we have a choice of petrol self-drive motor boats for hire at an extra cost of between £35-£65 per half day respectively, a fun and easy way to explore the river with no experience necessary – it is advisable to pre-book to avoid disappointment! Pedalos and SUP (stand-up paddle) boards are also included in the price – subject to availability.

Whether a moored stay or skippered cruise is chosen, enjoy the stunning surroundings from the luxurious comfort of a floating home. The crew pride themselves on offering a very unique and personalised service. PLEASE NOTE....... THIS IS NOT A SELF-DRIVE BOAT!

Tailor made cruises for up to 10 guests can also be arranged. Prices start at £200 for the first 2 hours, then £80/hour thereafter.
