The England region

The West Country is the most beautiful region of the British Isles. It's the part where England sticks her toe out into the Atlantic Ocean. It has everything that any holiday maker could wish for. From the premier surfing beaches of the North coast to the shelter safe bathing beaches of the south. All water sports are possible and available. On land there is the solitude of the moors, Dartmoor, exmoor and Bodmin with their rugged Tors set against quiet country lanes with abundant country pubs for refreshment.

West Country

Looe and South East Cornwall is one of the most accessable parts of the cornish coast. Leaving Devon at Plymouth, crossing the Iconic Tamar suspension bridge you have 14 more miles of the A38 then just 6 miles of cornish country lanes .
You enter the town along the banks of the East Looe river alongside the railway line that at somepoint on your holiday should take you on an excursion to other parts of Cornwall.

“Excellent location and facilities for family holiday.............................................”

Reviewed 20 Aug 2016

Facilities as advertised. Slightly more space than on pictures so great for sitting outside and relaxing on roof terrace.... Or drying wet beach wear. Steps and access steep due to topography of Looe but nothing unmanageable. Kids and teenagers didn't mind shuttling up and down the hill to fetch pasties, ice creams, fudge and souvenirs!! Location meant it was easy to manage teenagers with different plans too... I.e. Fishing trips, beach swimming, kayaking, shopping or even crabbing!!
