Description

Lollee's Place is a self contained, self catering, private garden cottage located 400 meters from the ocean in a quiet residential street. The cottage has two bedrooms with a double bed in one and two single beds in the other. There is also a sleeper couch which opens into a 3/4 bed in the living room - so we can comfortably sleep 6 adults. We also have a camp cot for our little guests and a spare foam mattress - so our maximum capacity is 6 adults and two children - although we have had more guest at one time.

The bathroom is spacious with separate shower and bath tub.

The braai area is covered by an ocean viewing deck - the steps going up to this deck are wood and have had to be replaced annually since we built them. Hopefully by the time you visit we have found a solution to these steps but if not please forgive us.. Parking for up to 3 cars is behind electric remote control gates.

The kitchen has a stove, microwave, kettle, washing machine and all the pots, plates, glasses and cutlery we can think you might need.

We have DSTV - so lots of different TV channels for you - as well as free WiFi. The cottage is private and only serviced once a week and between guests - so you do not have room service.

Use the cottage as a base while exploring our beautiful Eastern Cape Beaches and game parks. Or book up for the next time you have work to do in this area - either way - we are a "put your feet up and relax" kind of place - we love having visitors and we don't mind our visitors having visitors as well. Small well behaved pets are welcome - but just note that there may be other pets on the property so we allneed to get along. There is a swimming pool which is shared with 115 Main - please ask about this - we keep the gate closed for your safety. You may smoke outdoors all you want but please don't smoke inside the cottage.

115 is the main house. It has 3 bedrooms and is much bigger and more comfortable onside than Lollee's garden cottage. Ask if you would like to rent both.

Getting around

Best if you have your own transport if you plan to explore outside of Gonubie. But if its just sun sand and surf that you are after...then thats just 400 meters from the cottage.

House rules

We want our guests to be happy and relaxed - but these are our requirements.
We are not a party venue.
Young children are to be supervised at all times, especially on the steps and deck.
No smoking inside the cottage.
We have dogs and cats - please don't be scared of them and keep the gate closed so they don't get out.
Respect our neighbors - keep the noise levels down after 10 pm.
Leave your beds unmade on the last day - I have to strip them anyway.
Enjoy yourselves and come back again!!

How do damage deposits work?
