“Wonderful place to stay!”

Reviewed 7 Jun 2013

We were a party of 8 people of all ages, The Old Chapel was perfect for a big group. We always had plenty of space and felt extremely comfortable. Everything was done to a high standard in the house. There were many helpful touches, from buckets and spades, to logs for the fire. We loved the location too - the woods were so beautiful and provided a great place to walk and play on days we didn't feel like getting in the car. We heard nothing but birdsong. The pub next door was popular with the grown ups too! The beaches in this area are stunning and we could get to them very easily. Thank you for a really relaxing comfortable week.

“A very special house in beautiful North Devon”

The accommodation was ideal for our family holiday, with two small children. A lot of thought has obviously gone into the conversion, and the result is amazing. There was plenty of space for everyone, and we found everything provided that we could possibly need (we just brought food!). The countryside around the house was stunning, with miles of sandy beaches for the children within easy reach.

“It was like being in a 4* hotel but with all the comfort of home”

I really loved being able to arrive early and miss all the normal traffic jams going into North Devon. It felt like we got an extra day to our holiday. You could park at the property which is unusual for Devon hamlets and a great pub next door which you only know is there whilst you're in it. There is so much space there, with comfy beds and luxurious linen - we felt thoroughly spoiled
