Deluxe Woodlands Lodge, Jurassic Coast, Dorset is a spacious deluxe character property with self catering accommodation for 24 guests consisting of 5 bedrooms & 5 en-suites. Located on the famous Jurassic Coast, near Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, it is set within its own 2 acre of grounds accessed through a private gated entrance and features ample parking, an indoor games area and private outdoor hot tub.

The property comprises of 3 bedrooms on the ground floor combining a mixture of double and single beds, all with their own en-suites. There are a further 2 bedrooms with en-suites on the 1st floor. The house has an open plan kitchen & double dining area with a wood log fireplace. There is a large separate lounge with 2 double sofa beds & games area consisting of a pool table & football table. Patio doors from the dining area open out onto the extensive grounds, which includes a patio area for dining alfresco and a private hot tub.

You're just a short drive from the beautiful beaches of Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door which form part of the Coastal Path. Other local attractions include; The Lulworth Estate, a 17th century castle, Monkey World, Bovington Tank museum, Farmer Palmers', Athelhampton House & Garedens, The Blue Poole and RSPB at Arne, to name a few! The nearby village of Wool has a choice of 3 pubs and a few convenience stores that are suitable for stocking up on basic provisions. The historic Saxon walled town of Wareham, which has a high street, various markets, a pretty quay and variety of cafes, pubs and restaurants is a 5 mile drive away. A further drive to Poole offers a shopping centre and boasts Europe's largest natural harbour. The sea side towns of Weymouth, Swanage and Sandbanks famous blue flagged beaches are also within easy access. One can also enjoy a walk or cycle from the property exploring the surrounding country lanes and bridle paths.

Woodlands Lodge is available for; weekend stays, short & week long breaks, Hen & Stag parties, wedding receptions, family functions, corporate training and entertaining.

Woodlands gives you the opportunity to have a fantastic self catering holiday where you can totally relax and fully enjoy the Dorset countryside in its entirety.The Property is situated in the heart of the Jurassic coast, it is within short diving distance to much of the pristine coastline and beaches which the area is renowned for. It takes about 15 minutes to drive to the shore, a naturally beautiful area, with large enclosed beach& with chalk and Portland stone encompassing it. There are many unique and quaint villages, it is the ideal place to visit. Two of the most famous sites on the Jurassic Coastline are Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. Lulworth cove was formed naturally by erosion from the sea 10,000 years ago. It has a large sheltered beach and a thriving village. The village has a museum, a souvenir shop, a visitors centre and a host of pubs and restaurants. Lulworth also has a plethora of hiking routes ,along the coast, which can be both tranquil and challenging. Durdle Door is a unique landmark of the Jurassic coast and is named due to the towering limestone arch which protrudes into the sea. It has a lovely beach, like many of the sites on the coast fossils can be hunted from the surrounding rock. This is great for children and adults alike. Within a few miles, you have Lulworth Equestrian Centre, Monkey World and the Tank Museum, further afield there is Corfe Castle, Bournemouth, Dorchester, Weymouth and Swanage. This is just a few of the places of interest in the area to visit !

East Burton

Woodlands Lodge is situated just outside the village of Wool in Dorset.Wool has a railway station on the main South West Line running between Waterloo, Southampton, Bournemouth and Weymouth and is a small village with a Post Office,Chemist, General Store, Bakers, Butchers, Chinese Takeaway and several Public Houses and Restaurants. The nearby town of Wareham has a large supermarket, along with a weekly market and large number of shops.Bournemouth, Sandbanks Poole are only 30 minutes drive. There is something for everybody and the climate is enjoyable all year round.

Bournemouth - the cosmopolitan town with high street shops, department stores, boutiques and plenty of restaurants, bars and clubs.Poole is a tourist resort, attracting visitors with its large natural harbour, history, the Lighthouse arts centre and Blue Flag beaches. The town has a busy commercial port with cross-Channel freight and passenger ferry services.Sandbanks is famous for its award winning Blue Flag beaches and is nestled between the vibrant towns of Poole and Bournemouth with easy access to many well-known historical landmarks and beauty spots including the world renowned Jurassic coastline.
