From the owner

North Bank is a large grade 2 listed bungalow overlooking the river Eamont, with a large private garden with decking area and Hot Tub.

After the devastating floods in Dec 2015 North Bank has a total refurbishment keeping in charcher of this marvelous bungalow.

North Bank is very spacious and tastefully decorated, ideal for the larger family or large groups.

Penrith is a 10 minute walk into the lovely market town and within easy driving distances to explore the Lake District.

The large country style kitchen looks into the large back garden. The lounge and living rooms are both very spacious with high ceilings and plently of comfortable sofas and chairs. Both the lounge and dining room have a large log burner.

Two bedrooms and both living rooms look out on to the river Eamont. The other two bedrooms look into the large garden at the rear of the property.

There are 2 bathrooms one with shower cubicle and large Bath, toilet and wash basin, the other has a large walk in shower and toilet and wash basin enclosed in a vanity unit.

Large Charcoal Barbecue in the rear garden with dining table and chairs and sofas.

Hot water and central central heating is supplied by an Air Source Heat Pump which heats the house 24hrs a day with plenty of hot water .

Mobile phones have a good reception, there are TV's in both lounge areas and the kitchen area.

Ample off road parking for up to 5 cars.

I understand glasses may get broken but please do inform me before you leave.
Large damages/breakages must be reported as soon as possible for me to be able to replace or repair.
Dogs are allowed in the house but are not allowed on the furnishings or bedrooms.
If we have extra cleaning to do from parties and animals this cost will be deducted from your housekeeping/damages deposit.
We ask that noise is kept to a minimum after 11pm in the garden and Hot Tub area.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
