The North Wales region

The West coast has some great coastal walks and lovely sandy beaches to discover. Surfing and dog walking is popular in this area. The north west has highlights including Mount Snowdon and the Isle of Anglesey in this magical part of Wales; you will find a break here relaxing or if you fancy going for a climb then it would be adventurous. The south coast of Wales has sandy beaches but also the benefit of access some of Wales largest cities including the capital Cardiff. The Brecon Beacons are full of steep mountain escarpments, waterfalls and spectacular views. In mid Wales you will begin to discover the appeal of the Valleys. And finally, Pembrokeshire has jagged coastlines, secret bays and some of the finest coastal towns line this area and you can see why people return every year to holiday there.
