We have recently enjoyed a bank holiday stay in this delightful cottage. It was perfect for what we wanted, close to the beach and Sunderland for a concert. On top of that our Springer Spaniel thought he had died and gone to heaven with the fields, woods and sandy beach so close to us and indeed sulked for a whole week after we returned home. In terms of the cottage itself it is clearly loved by the owners and everything was in order, well maintained and perfect for our needs. The welcome pack was excellent and the owners couldn't have been nicer to deal with. We would certainly recommend the cottage to couples, small families or even those with teenagers( like ours) who were more than happy to be flexible and be reminded of their youth with a couple of nights in the bunk beds
