We would like to welcome you to our sunny beachfront apartment in Duquesa port in Costa del Sol (Spain). Our self catering holiday rental apartment is right next to Duquesa Port and Marina in the middle of Costa del Sol. Enjoy Spain's finest beaches, the sea life and lots of activities. Beach holidays at its best!

The apartment has been furnished to a very high standard and enjoys sea views and a southwest orientation that brings sun all day long. It comfortably accommodates four people and a fifth guest is also possible. Its privileged position within a fantastic holiday complex (Marina de la Duquesa) brings many hours of sun to the property while allowing guests to benefit from sea views across the communal swimming pools and gardens.

Our holiday rental apartment is ideally situated next to pintoresque port of Marina de la Duquesa in the west Costa del Sol of Spain. The apartment´s location permits our guests to enjoy Duquesa´s bars and restaurants while away of noisy night life.

Duquesa beach is right in front of the apartment!

There is a terraced area that is perfect to enjoy meals outside or a few drinks as the sun goes down.

The apartment has one double and one twin bedroom with an extra roll out single bed if required. Originally fitted out to a high standard it has been recently uplifted to a modern look and presentation. It has central air conditioning and heating. All furniture is new and modern and it has been tastefully decorated.

The apartment enjoys all the mod cons and has every item you would expect in your own home including CD player, DVD player, flat screen TV, satellite TV, dish washer, a utility room with washing machine, oven, microwave and a large fridge-freezer. It includes free broadband internet access.

The apartment has a private underground parking space and a storage room.

The complex is fenced and enjoys 24hs private security.

The urbanisation is very secure for children: it is fenced and there is a lifeguard service during the summer.

Marina de la Duquesa is a very desirable and attractive holiday resort for everyone due to its superior facilities and unbeatable location: less than 50 m away from the bustling Duquesa Port and Marina with his geat variety of bars and restaurants to suit everybody's taste. Those looking for a more Spanish flavour can try local restaurants in El Castillo de la Duquesa (150 meters away) or in Sabinillas town.

Resort facilities include 4 swimming pools, Paddle tennis courts, Sauna, Games room, Gym, 24hr security, direct beach access and underground parking. All sun beds lying in communal areas are free to use by guests.

There are many excellent golf courses next to Duquesa area including Valderrama, Alcaidesa or Cortesín and one of them, Duquesa golf course, is just 150 metres away from Marina de la Duquesa. If you head in the direction of Marbella, you will find a further selection of fantastic golf courses such as Los Naranjos, Santa Clara, Monte Mayor, La Quinta, Rio Real and many others.

Shoping in Gibraltar is also a must that can be easily scheduled when visiting the region.

Costa del Sol region has reached a very high standard and benefits from great hospital care, fast and big roads and efficient police enforcement.


Our holiday rental is in a quiet area of Costa del Sol, Duquesa port, a small port and marina in the municipality of Manilva. Next to Puerto Duquesa you will find one of the most emblematic holiday complexes in the area, Marina de la Duquesa, which is where our apartment is. Our complex is specially suited for family holidays; it is gated, secured, has 4 swimming pools, communal gardens, two padel courts and it is beachfront.

Our holiday resort, Marina de la Duquesa, is a front line development perfectly situated to enjoy both the beaches and a great variety of bars and restaurants. On your doorstep is the ''New Golden Mile'' beachside promenade which joins the charming seaside town of Sabinillas to the lively international marina of Puerto Duquesa and, a bit further away, to the little town of Castillo de la Duquesa. Both towns are ideal to get more into the real spain feeling and enjoying the typical spanish food and tapas.

There are no high rise hotels or apartment blocks in Duquesa, which has helped to maintain its charm and its character. The blue flag sandy beach stretches past Sabanillas to Estepona. On the other side it winds along the coast to the well known resort of Sotogrande. The Duquesa waterfront is closed to traffic making it safe for families´holidays.

Manilva is a wonderful area to enjoy a range of activities for the whole family. Activities in Manilva include water sports and horse riding and there is always lots of things to do and fun events for children.

In Estepona you have the Selwo African animal reserve and you are a short drive away from the aqua parks of Mijas and the cable lift and marine park in Benalmadena. The local tourist information centres in Estepona or Duquesa are ideal for obtaining further details and leaflets on local activities and events.

While Costa del Sol is a very turistic part of Spain where one may find all type of restaurants, amenities or activities, it is not always easy to find an area such as Duquesa that is not overcrowed thus keeping its charm and character.

"Great holidays"

We spend there fantastic family holidays in Marina de la Duquesa. The apartment was big and clean. It had beautiful balcony with lovely view at the sea and the pools which we were free to use. The kitchen was fully equipped but we didn't need to cook too much as the local pubs, bars, restaurants and clubs were just a short walk away. The flat had two bathrooms which was very handy. It was lovely decorated but specious. Free internet was a real bonus too. Also in the complex there were paddle tennis courts and the gym. The town was very picturesque. The owner emailed us all the instructions of how to get there, the manual and what attractions and places of interests are there in the area. We are coming back this year!

"Perfecto para descansar e ir de compras a Gibraltar."

El estado del apartamento es todo muy nuevo ,tanto el apartamento en sí como el mobiliario y enseres ;espacioso y sin agobios de mobiliario , camascomodas y sofa genial , muy comodo podría servir como cama, como en propia casa . La limpieza muy bien , valoro mucho este punto por los niños. Buena situacíón , la playa en la misma valla de la urbanizacion , y la piscina muy cerca , podiamos vigilar desde casa a los niños mientras estaban en la piscina . Para comer hay restaurantes de todo tipo en el puerto y varios supermercados cerca. Pasamos muy buenos dias allí .

"Appartment and beach met our expectations fully"

We wanted to pass some sunny days in Spain at a nice and quite neibourhout. It was important for us to have a swimming pool area as well as access to the beach. Both is at this place available and let to our full satisfaction. We could chose between several pools mainly in the morning or early day time and went to the beach at the later afternoon. Also some nice restaurants and bars are just outside of the building - so we never had really any stress. This is maybe the best summary I can give: it is a perfect place and area to pass some easy chilled days. Just perfect. Also it is close to some really nice and interesting places such as Ronda or Casares. We went even for a day trip to Tanger and to Granada. So at the end our family had a perfect mixture between leisure and culture. Supermarkets and all shops you might need are just around the corner in Sabinillas a drive of some minutes if much. The overall building is in good shape and has a good overall management that is following all open topics so that you have the feeling that they are really interested in. The vacation rental was very well equiped, with WLAN and TV. A very good kitchen and two bathrooms. So we as a couple had our space and our children too. Also very good is the individual parking area in the building which keeps your car safe and cool (!) especially in summer a really positive argument. We enjoyed our shortrip and would like to come back.

"Calidad a buen precio."

Acabamos de volver de nuestras mini vacaciones en Marina de la Duquesa y ya la estamos echando de menos. Todo muy bien. El apartamento está muy bien amueblado y orientado. La relación calidad-precio es inmejorable en la zona. Una de las piscinas la teníamos justo delante así que nos venía muy bien para vigilar a los críos. La playa está en frente de la urbanización, aunque preferimos quedarnos por la piscina que la teníamos toda para nosotros. Las tiendas, bares y restaurantes las teníamos muy a mano así que todo perfecto. Esperamos volver pronto.
