Spacious 2 bed 2 bath apartment in beachfront complex of Marina del Castillo in Puerto de la Duquesa, with picturesque views overlooking the Roman Ruins, Castle and the beach. Complex was constructed in 2008 and offers modern accommodation with state of the art home automation system, hot and cold air con throughout, Siemens appliances, hydro shower and jacuzzi bath as well as benefiting from 24hr security, communal pool and landscaped gardens in the wider complex. The apartment is within walking distance of the port of Duquesa, the village of El Castillo and town of Sabinillas - all of which you can find a vast selection of restaurants, bars and shops. Property also offers an underground parking space, although with everything on your doorstep there is little need for a car. Duquesa golf club is a 5 min walk away, with a vast array of golf courses available in nearby Estepona, Marbella and Sotogrande. Supermarkets within sight and walking distance of the apartment. Double bed settee in the living room which allow 6 people to comfortably stay in the apartment (although please inform Owner if intend to use, to ensure bed linen & additional towels provided). Master bedroom with ensuite with jacuzzi bath, double basins and storage underneath. Two wardrobes in the master bedroom with additional large chest of drawers for ample storage. Two single beds in second bedroom with wardrobe. Towels and bedlinen are automatically supplied for the two bedrooms. English TV channels available on TV, with a TV in the master bedroom as well as lounge - if you like to keep up to date with your British soaps while on your hols! DVD player in the lounge with a selection of DVDs available to view. WIFI is available in the apartment, and is also available near the pool area (beside Concierge office - ask the security guard for the log on details). Beach towels are also supplied for guests to save some space in your suitcase! Travel cot with linen is available at an extra charge of €15 per stay. If you would like a welcome pack of water, milk, tea and coffee for your arrival, this can be arranged at a cost of €10, please request on booking.

House rules

Community rules are in information file in the apartment. Main points to note are no loud music to be played at any time, no music or glass by the pool and no inflatables in the pool.

Please be careful when using suntan lotions around bed linen, towels etc e.g. Parasol, P20 etc, the cost of replacement bed linen/towels etc will be retained from security deposit should suntan lotion spillages fail to be laundered out. The same applies for whitening toothpaste which bleaches towels,

“Top notch holiday apartment”

We’ve stayed in this apartment block so knew that the location was excellent (on the beach and a slow five minute walk to the port in Duquesa). The apartment was of a very high quality with a nice large balcony to sit out on and watch the sea. Jacquie was very helpful any time we needed assistance. Would definitely revisit.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Stephanie (the owner) a message.

If Stephanie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
